Love this watch for running and sleeping
I have a 6.2” wrist so was a bit worried about this size of this - no problems at all comfort or fit wise - I love it!! It’s not a subtle size - but I got a few brightly colored bands to change out and make it a statement watch. I’ve worn it running, biking, to professional work presentations, no problems. The battery life is amazing - I don’t even have to bring the charger vacations. Got used to sleeping with it in just a couple days despite not ever wearing a watch to bed previously, and love the metrics: the sleep score - the recommended workouts and body battery. So many awesome features and the screen clarity is amazing. I got this upgrading from my beloved 645-and have been wearing Garmin’s since I think 2006. Their tech keeps improving and data privacy is solid!

Best fitness watch on the market.
Total game changer. Love the style and functions. I put a stainless bracelet on it and it looks amazing. The sleep score has become a daily essential.

Best Watch on the market!
I have every Apple Watch and most Garmin watches but this is the best watch I have ever owned. Apple Watches are nice but hard to read and they only last a day and half per charge (the Ultra). Most Garmin watches are had to use and hard to see. I have bought the Fenix 5, 6 solar titanium, Foreruinner and others. None of them compare to the Epic Gen 2. The Amoled screen is the best on the market. Easy to see even in bright sunlight. Touch screen works better than any watch I have owned. It is very easy to use (most Garmin are hard to use and see). It doesn’t have fall protection or phone calling like the Apple but I never used those anyway. And did I mention that it goes 15 days on a singe charge. LET ME REPEAT THAT 15 DAYS ON A SINGLE CHARGE. This is the watch Apple should have made. Every watch should have an Amoled Sceen PERIOD!!!!!! This is the only watch I will need for a long time. Highly Recommend! PS gave my Apple Ultra to my brother.

vesatile across multiple activities
Great watch, versatile and smart looking. It is large at 47mm but the display is so crisp and clear, and there is so much information available, I am glad to have the medium sized Epix. Will post more later, if relevant.

Best watch I have ever purchased
This watch is superb quality. As it should be for the price tag. I haven't gone out and tested the GPS system yet but I have had other Garmin watches and this one is the best by far. The clarity on the screen is great. Response to you looking at it is almost instantaneous. Great watch. Very high price point but you get what you pay for.

Superior to Apple and lower cost Garmins
After trying Apples' latest Ultra and Garmins Venu 2 PLus, I am thoroughly impressed with Garmins Epix for its detailed health tracking. Things like Tennis - Indoor or Outdoors - Apple doesnt offer. Sleep detail also much better than Apples. I liked the Venu 2 Plus but was frustrated it lacks a manual pause feature for workouts (ex: water or bathroom breaks). It does offer the option to "Auto Pause" which I found frustrating in its accuracy. The Epix does offer manual pausing - even the ability to pickup an activity later. But its the superb GPS tracking for hiking, running and biking that I find great. Lastly, I chose the Epix over a Fenix for the DISPLAY AS ITS FANTASTIC. Yes, it costs more obviously. But I bought a refurbished/used model and saved a few hundred. But its a fantastic watch.

Terrible after-sales support from Garmin
After only 13 months (conincidence?), my watch started going to music controls on it's own. The back button also became unresponsive, working about 5 seconds after pressing it. I turned the watch off and on, charged it fully, plugged it into my PC and did an update using Garmin Express. No joy. So, then I tried a hard reset by holding in the light button. When it restarted, the "Reset default settings?" screen comes up. If I select No, nothing happens, if I select Yes, the watch reboots and this screen opens up again. I tried doing a hard reset by turning the watch off, holding in the Start/Stop and Back buttons, releasing the Start button after the first beep and the Back button after the second beep, but nothing changed. I went through a number of Q&As on Garmin's support site and read several forum topics, but nothing worked. I eventually contacted Garmin Support. It took over a month to get a response, which was simply:"Good day.Thank you for contacting Product Support.First, please accept our apologies for not answering your email in the time we quoted on our website. Due to an unforeseeable high volume of emails and calls we’ve received this has led to a backlog, which we’ve been working hard to restore to our usual service levels.I just wanted to confirm if this has been resolved?"How could it have been resolved if no one even attempted to assist?I replied, saying it hadn't been resolved. That was almost 2 weeks agao, and once again, radio silence. The watch also seems to be, at times, wildly innacurate with heart rate and sleep tracking. For the price of this watch, I would recommend considering different options, of which there are quite a few these days.*Update*: Another week has passed without a word from Garmin. The fact that it took a month to get even a response email because of "unforseeable high volume of calls" leads me to believe I am one of many, many users having issues with their Garmin device/s.

Simply better and value for money
This is proper piece of technology. Well designed. Does what its meant to do.The battery life is slightly shorter than what the Fenix 7 would offer. However, that is only due to the much better screen type. It still will outlast an Apple watch 16 times over. So its not really an issue. This is not fashion watch, it is big and robust.I would recommend a 39 mm screen protector for the standard Epix gen 2. Also, the cover/case like one would use on a smartphone is a must, it preserve the condition. The Fenix 7 cover will fit.
