Dungeons & Dragons Rules Expansion Gift Set (Alternate Cover)

This is legitimately the best dnd deal I've ever seen. The art is so nice too! The cover of the books are all 3d and shiny too so it's just so nice to have. The dm screen isn't anything flashy but has a lot of pertinent information for the serious dm, I'm thinking about laminating one side for use as a hp counter but I love the design so much and hate the idea of messing it up. Overall extremely good quality as per usual! If you want to get your kids something for Hannukah or Christmas then definitely get this!

Gorgeous books, at time of purchase 3 for the price of one and a half (fantastic deal). Comes with a dm screen. I will use these to inflict terror upon my players and they will love it and hate me for it. Fun textures on the covers of these books.

For the $70 or so I bought it for, this is actually cheaper than buying the included books indiviudally--and you get a nice DM screen! The covers look amazing, so I honestly would have bought these over the regular ones anyway. As for the content, it's the type of thing that you either want or you don't. If you're reading the Amazon reviews to see if the books themselves are good, I'd suggest doing a bit of outside research on *what* this product is.

These were half the price of thrones black books. The art on these book covers are amazing. These books feel more elegant than the black set...very beautiful art works throughout. Shinny pages and art ax well. Great job

Corner of the box that holds the books and some book corners had slight crush damage. Very minimal to notice and still good condition for use, especially being almost half cost. I assumed this would be the case from previous reviews. Seems they can sell at a discount due to slight damage. If you want to purchase as a prestine collectors item, you may want to pay full price direct from the official site. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend. I love the glossy raised art and foil design of the alternate cover art. Even the dm screen is unique!

My boyfriend is an avid DM and got me into D&D. When I told him I was interested in starting my own campaign, he supported me exponentially. Soon, books upon books started showing up on our doorstep. I asked why we needed a new PHB, DMG, and MM. He stated that he would NOT be sharing his books with me, as his are notated, and he has bookmarks throughout. I was a fan of Tasha's and Xanathar's due to having the digital version, and I wanted a hard copy for my new campaign. I began searching and finally found this. I was impressed by the aesthetic. The artwork; beautiful! The shimmery foil; Beautiful! The nifty case that holds them all together; A necessity due to my constant misplacing of things. I was ecstatic when he told me he had bought me this set! I waited for the amazon delivery driver with bated breath. Once delivered, I tore into the box with the fervor of a starved Chimera. However, once unveiled, the set he gifted me was not this one but the standard version of this boxed set. I expressed that I had wanted the pretty special edition version of the books, not the plain old REGULAR edition. He understood and said he would keep the books for himself, and I ordered this special edition set for myself. I am not disappointed! This set is beautiful, the DM screen is gorgeous and contains helpful cheat sheets for stats and the like, and the contents are everything I had wanted. As a bonus, the color differential is beneficial to ensure we don't get our books mixed up.

Delivered on time and no damage to product.

I've read that some clients had issues with their packaging or the quality of the product. Fortunately for me the books arrived in perfect conditions, no misprints, damages on them or in the case and the shipping box was sturdy and had enough protective bags, in other words an overall 10 out of 10 (please note that the photos don't make these beautiful books justice, the shine of their foil against the pearly white it's just perfect). Too bad the delivery wasn't as good as the rest, my books arrived 5 days after the delivery date, as already mentioned the books arrived perfectly the only inconvenience was that the delay meant I didn't got them for my birthday but not a big deal overall.
