Power Hour: How to Focus on Your Goals and Create a Life You Love

Lacks any substance - save your money
Really like Adrienne and have followed her on Instagram for a while. Pre-ordered the book and was excited to get stuck in but i was so disappointed. The power hour concept is great but the book just feels thin and lacking, it's more of a collection of excerpts from other (better) books. I'm sure for some people, power hour will be motivating, but if your wanting more depth/research/new perspectives I'd look elsewhere. It's a basic overview of the usual info on mindset/movement/habits etc. I'll be dodging influencer books from now on as they're significantly over-hyped. Atomic Habits by James Clear, Mindset by Dr Carol Dweck would be a much better investment and starting point.

A must read. Thank you for writing it Adrienne.
I am only a couple of chapters in but I have loved every single page so far. Adrienne’s writing is captivating, involving and personal - which makes the book hard to put down and extremely relatable. Her way of opening up the conversations about topics that are often overlooked has made me smile, reflect and want to do more to better myself and the environment I am in. This is not a pretty book to keep on the shelf but a manual to carry with you to remind yourself you can do hard things and that change is possible, it is all down to your choices and the little things that make up our days.I would recommend it to anyone and hope you’ll enjoy as much as I am enjoying it right now.

Once you pick it up, you’ll struggle to put it down!
WHAT A BOOK!! I’m not the fastest reader but I was turning pages so fast because Adrienne writes so well. It might make you cry at the beginning because it’s very honest in a good way. But it hits all the right spots in terms of motivation and encouragement! 2020 really knocked many of us but this book gives you the power boost you need for 2021! I can not recommend this book enough! And you can pick it up at any point! It’s brilliant!

I’m now motivated to regain my focus and goals
This book has arrived at perfect timing. I was feeling a little lost in direction and lacked motivation. This book has really helped me to regain my focus and attitude towards life. My life is busy running a restaurant and I have a 7 year old son so my time is always limited and feel guilty if I ever wanted some ‘me time’. Adrienne has helped me understand and make me realise that I can have time for myself and I’m feeling more motivated than ever to get the balance right for me and my family.

Everyone needs to read this!
Received this yesterday and can't put it down - it's made me reevaluate how I approach my day and taught me things I thought I already knew but had only just scratched the surface. Adrienne is an absolute powerhouse!

Make positive changes in just 1 hour a day
I’ve read a lot of business and self development books and after a few chapters you get the concept, but there’s 10 more chapters on the same subject, this book is different. It combines all the important aspects of many of those great books and more, but it gives you simple, relatable, and most importantly actionable ways to make lasting change in your life. Perfect for the start of 2021.Really enjoyable read!

AN ABSOLUTE CRACKER
Having followed Adrienne's work for quite some time it was fair to say I was buzzing when I heard that she was writing a book! Her Power Hour podcast has been such a source of inspiration throughout all 3 lockdowns and now that I've got my hands on a copy of her book... it's the icing on the cake! Her tone and turn of phrase is so relatable whilst remaining elegantly strung together. It is digestible and I adore that you can pick it up and put it down whenever you like. Diving back into the nuggets of wisdom as and when you like!Is it too soon to say I cannot wait for the sequel?THOROUGLY RECCOMEND!
