Nice heavy and sturdy table. Wrapped very well on arrival. Directions are absolutely horrible. But, simple enough to figure out. We were missing one screw for the tabletop. Weird as most places always give a couple extra.Biggest issue - No Pilot Holes for both the chairs and the table! So, better make sure to get that tabletop centered! Used a yardstick as the table is 36". So, drew a few lines on the bottom to figure out where center is. Chairs were easier to do, but again, wish the pilot holes were there.I'd purchase again.

Restaurant quality dining set. Chairs are incredibly sturdy and the vinyl cushions offer excellent comfort over long periods of sitting. Unpacking and assembly is not trivial - will likely take 60-90 minutes depending on how handy you are. No special tools are required other than a Phillips head screwdriver. You do NOT have to pre-drill the holes for seats/table as I have read in other posts. The wood screws provided are self-threading. TIP: use the tip of the screw as a "punch" and the base of the screwdriver as a hammer to gently hammer the top of the screw into the alignment grommet. This will create a small punch in the wood which is just enough to get through the tough laminate and allow the screw to easily self-thread with moderate downward pressure on the screwdriver.Final note, the table top shown is with the black side up. The table top provided has different colors on both sides. I chose the set for the black table top, but after receiving and unpacking, the mahogany side of the table top was chosen for the topside of the table... very attractive !

This was used in a trade show booth, NOT in a home. The chairs came scratched in a few places, but felt sturdy and where easy to assemble. The table top was actually a dark brown but not black I think I was sent the wrong top but it worked out. The table also felt sturdy and was easy to assemble. Had I bought this for my kitchen I would of been upset so keep that in mind when buying.Would buy it again it was cheap and worked for my needs.

The first word that comes to mind when I attempt to describe this set is "sturdy". The chairs are made of a tough metal frame and the cushioned, vinyl upholstered seats are fairly cushy and easy to clean. The table frame is all metal as well, the base looking to be of a thick iron material. The table top is heavy, pretty thick, and appears to be very durable. You may need a drill to attach the screws from the table shaft into the top, as they are not pre-drilled. Overall, the table set looks clean and basic but definitly not cheap or flimsy. I am very sure that this set will be in service in my dining room for many, many years. I would highly recommend.
