A Few Modifications and now perfect!
Easy to build. I did caulk all the insides to reinforced the sides and it’s more refined and higher quality looking which also created a stronger shoe rack ends. Before caulking would dip a little bit with pressure but not anymore. I also used wood glue where the dowels were located. Lastly I added a little bit of my own trim to the bottom using wood glue and caulk so there wouldn’t be lost toys creeping in the gaps (wished they would have extended the bottom piece. I also anchored to the wall with my own L bracket. I also drilled and added my own coat hooks and definitely can fit 3 items per cubby if not more! I’m all about maximizing space.

Great storage for small spaces and medium weight items.
I bought this hall tree to “split the difference” between a deep coat closet that backs up to my kitchen, allowing me an extra 3’w x 2”d spot for a pantry on the other side (instead of what used to be a blank wall/dead space) in my tiny galley style kitchen. The hall tree arrived with no damage and was easy to assemble. While assembling, I lined the back piece with a peel and stick wallpaper (white with silver branches) to dress it up a bit. The resulting piece looks amazing, and the storage space it provides is adequate for my needs (coat, scarves, umbrella, and shoe storage by the front door). One thing I would like to add is that, after screwing in the first hook, I unscrewed it and put some super glue on the back of each hook before screwing them both in. They are fairly sturdy and I feel confident hanging heavy coats on them. I’m not sure if this extra step was necessary, but it is made out of particle board and the screws aren’t very long. The hooks could also be better quality - they are lightweight and could potentially bend. I wanted to mention that in case anyone is thinking of buying this for kids. I would say it’s safe for diaper bags and elementary school book bags, but that’s about it. Lastly, if you’re a guy with larger feet (I’d say 10 1/2+) you may only be able to fit one shoe per cubby hole.

It's good but can be flimsy
I paid $144 shipped each. The melamine surface is good. But the dividers for the 9 shoe holes are made from cheap wood and the finish felt a bit rough. I used some matte clear polyurethane on it to prevent dirt sticking to it. The wood is heavy but lack rigidity. You will get gaps here and there. You don't see any gaps in the picture I attached because I caulked all the corners. You should do that if you buy this because it's the only way to make it look good and stay relatively rigid over time with use. I'm not saying this thing is bad. I'm saying that you should expect cheap particle boards and flimsy trims at this price level. Also, I added the extra trim in front at the foot because Prepac decided it's good to leave a gap at the front for dust to collect and critters to hide. Prepac, please redesign the front to close off that gap. Please use something more rigid for the front vertical trims. If I didn't caulk it, those pieces easily moved when people held onto it to keep balance. Sure, there's a bench and you're not supposed to hold onto it to keep yourself up but try telling that to kids and old people. Anything that is subjected to human contact needs be properly secured. I do like that Prepac supplied wall anchors. Although it is not the most elegant design, it works. It's a cheap zip tie system. I ditched it for metal L brackets and screws. If you live near an Ikea, they also give you wall anchors for free that is better. If you live near an Ikea, you may be better off there. If you don't, this is the best thing I can find under $150. Remember to caulk everything or it looks really cheap and feels flimsy.

Love it!
I have been wanting a mudroom locker for over a year and could not quite find something affordable that I liked. While searching Amazon I found the Prepac line and my mind started spinning with affordable ideas! This is 2 Prepac entryway organizers (I left the shoe cubbies out), a Prepac 36 in entryway coat hanger cubby and a 2 cubby shoe bench. The entryway organizers are great for storage. I left the shoe cubbies out because my husband and boys WILL NOT pick their shoes up and put them on a shelf so open cubbies allows them to be lazy but clean 🤣 It took me (and my 9 year old son) about 2 hours to put the first one together but it was his first attempt at building so most of the time was spent explaining and coaching. The second one took me about 45 minutes to build alone. A few tips: before placing the backing mark where the top and middle shelf are so you can put a couple nails in that area to support the backing. The instructions only say to put nails around the outer border. The shoe bench took me about 30 minutes to put together. I have ordered a cushion to put on top for protection. The 36 in wall cubby is a breeze to put together. It took me about 30 minutes to put together alone. I put wood glue in any seam that was not visible on all 4 pieces to add a little support to the pieces. For the entryway organizers and the bench I added the wood glue BEFORE putting the backer on! The entryway organizers have a piece of wood that doesn’t go on the pieces as it is to help pack and protect the box. I used one of these boards as a support in the back to connect the organizers and bench together and painted the top of the board white so it matched. This cost me less than $500 total! It has plenty of space for a family of 4 and guests.

great for price
Did some comp shopping and amazon def was the best price. I was able to put this together the instructions were fairly easy although it would be nice if they had letter stickers to match the images. I chose not to place the bottom slats in and got my own baskets and hooks to add on. If you have young children you MUST secure this to the wall. I also wouldn't put anything super heavy on the top area but it's great for a coat, or in our case keys, and dog things. Love the overall look. It's not the highest quality but again for the price, it's not bad.

Looks as pictured. Pretty sturdy and decent quality for the price. Surprisingly easy to put together ( I did it on my own and I'm not handy).

Bought two of these units because I wanted to create a locker room type set up in my small closet by the back door. I had done all the measurements and knew it will fit. The unit came in a timely manner, and everything was protected quite well. the side of one unit did have a damage spot but I was too lazy to send it back, plus it's in the closet anyways, so it's fine. It's easy to set up, like an ikea furniture, and looks quite sleek. I have no complaints about these except I would've liked them to be a bit larger, but it is called a space saving entryway organizer. so small it is.

The entryway to my basement apartment has a tight space at the bottom of the stairs that this unit fit perfectly into. And I mean perfectly. There's about 1/2" clearance under the vent bulkhead and about 1/64" clearance for my lightswitch on the right. Durability: It seems like it'll last a few years at least. I'll probably get bored of it before it gives up on me. However, it's made of particle board with a bit of MDF. The shoe rack insert appears to be made with 1/4" plywood and the paint will likely wear over time. Assembly: The parts weren't labeled, but they were easy to identify. Overall, it does what I need it to for a fairly reasonable price.

Very easy to put together, took an hour by myself. Boots and larger shoes definitely do not fit. But its great for slip ons, running shoes, kids shoes, sandals... etc
