For my hermit crabs
I have my crabs going on 8 years, finding bigger shells is a challenge and even though this is polished, best I can find for my crabs to grow into

Not for Hermits
Besides the shells being smaller than described, they are lacquered NOT polished to a shine. Lacquer is no better than a colorful painted shell for hermit crabs. Hermit crabs modify their shells by pinching off tiny pieces and eating the bits. If you’re unsure about crab care, Crab Central Station videos are so helpful. The Crab Street Journal and LHCOS have a crab adoption network in your area if you’re so over it, and great care advice if you’re all in:)

Beautiful shells, but very heavy. My very large hermit crab went in immediately, but could hardly move. He scampered back to his old 🐚smaller shell. 5 stars for decoration and 2 stars for hermit crabs
