Clairmont Loft Bed,Espresso

I purchased this bed for my 13 years old daughter. she has a very small room and that was the only option we've had.not easy to assemble, but possible, two people, one evening and the bed is done. thank you. be careful and read the instructions, make sure you use right screws for the right wholes, otherwise you will be doing it over ( like we did :-) )my daughter loves it.

The loft bed is terrible. Most of the parts do not fit together. Thankfully my husband is very handy. He finally got the bed part together. The desk and dresser were finally tossed out because the pices did not go together. It would have been expensive to return the bed. the only consolation was that my husband has tools and was able to construct the bed.

I am pretty dissapointed with this product. The color is not as it appeared online and I guess I should have noted it said cherry when it appeared to be walnut. Baring that, the veneer is very thin and already had several chips along the edges from the manufacturer. each edge of the cherry veneer shows a thin line of particle board peaking through. Build quality and overall fit and finish is pretty low as well. All the pieces except the desk felt wobbly on their own and don't tie together very well. It's very hard to move this piece, not because of weight but because of how the pieces are not well intergrated. If you can live with all that then be very careful not to lose any hardware as there isn't a single extra included in the set! Also, remember to not over tighten as it will wreck the wood very quickly!On the annoying but not really their fault front, when you place your order they will preauthorize your card for the full amount, that then comes back to your account with no record of it coming or going and then you have to watch out for it to come out again. If you're balancing your account like you should you will be fine, but if you're like me and have been too busy for a week with buying a new house and moving (single Father) you may find you have far less than you thought.

I like everything about this product except the wheels on the desk. They will not turn freely on my hardwood floors and are leaving scratches real bad. So I cannot use the desk. Do you have any rubber wheels that I can mount instead of these plastic ones? Need help with this now.ThanksDennis [email protected]

the only reason i'm giving this a 4 is because it arrived missing a couple of pieces of hardware. lucky a trip to lowes solved the problem. it does have a lot of parts so make sure you have a nice sized amount of space to assemble it. otherwise, my daughter loves it!

we bought this bed couple months ago..very nice bed..!!! my daughter is 6 and this bed is actually huge for her..but it is good so it going to serve a purpose for some time..:)..the bed is very sturdy... and my husband (not the small guy) had a nap on it too.and was comfortable..!!! how ever the price is on amazon is too high..!! I got it on walmart.com for 300$ less..!!!!!!!!!..so don't overpay..!!!!! to put together it took like 5-6 hours..me and my husband did it together..when you are ready to assemble make sure to start putting together on the the place where this bed going to be..because it's hard to move..very heavy..drawers are very nice..pretty deep and the desk not too small either..the whole bed is actually much bigger that it seems on the picture..very nice buy for 400$..!!!! and get a free shipping to the store...!! so d research before you buy it..:))
