Great help in managing IBS with diarrhea for my Mom
My Mom has had IBS with diarrhea for over a year and this subsequent to a C diff infection in the hospital. The C diff is no longer the active bacteria causing the problem however since then she has been having chronic diarrhea which had worsened over the last few months. We tried loperamide hcl and lomotil but neither was very effective or only a short term relief. We read about the product in Parade magazine, Despite the note saying you could ask Walgreen s and CVS to order they seemed clueless when I called them to order so I ordered it on Amazon and got it in 2 days with prime. It did not work immediately and was going to give up on it, but after 4 or 5 days it started helping a great deal. Ordered four boxes to bring back to Canada. Looking forward to the product being available in Canada was told they are working on getting approval. I hope that with greater distribution that the price can lower a bit as it is expensive for a senior on fixed income and it not being covered by insurance as over the counter.

It Was a Miracle Product For Me!
For the last eight years IBS has plagued me. Pretty much after every meal or even cup of coffee, I'd have to wait and see if it would trigger my IBS. Three meals a day was three "opportunities" for me to feel like crap each day. If it did trigger my IBS, it meant an urgent need to go, but more importantly, seriously mind-bending cramp. I'm talking PAINFUL stuff --twice I've actually thrown up and almost passed out from being unable to cope with the pain. The possible mortification of needing to go when I'm, like, stuck in traffic or out on a date, was just the cherry on top on this damn thing.I swear that these past few years I've been keeping the producers of Imodium in business. So a few months back I changed my diet to low FODMAP foods, which helped, but not enough. Then I tried these! I was VERY skeptical, having had a bad reaction (hunger pain that did not go away even after eating!) to a different strain of probiotics before. So I started these expecting very little, but I'm so freaking glad I did. Over a month later, I've only had IBS maybe 4 times (compared to at least 4 times a week normally) in the last 40 days, and the CRAMPING was only at about 5-10% of what it was. That’s a TON of relief from where I was. I know IBS has many different causes (my sister has Celiac but I tested negative for it), so I doubt there’s one cure for all, but for me, this stuff has really blown my mind. I’m going to buy and do another round this just to make sure this bacteria continues to flourish in my gut, because this is the closest thing to a “cure” I’ve ever tried. I hope some of you will get the same relief I have! I swear I could kiss the maker of this!

May be good for IBS but didn't work for CIC
No offense to the product, I have (CIC) Chronic Idiopathic Constipation and have tried absolutely everything with no help. The product didn't upset my stomach and I did notice a decrease in flatulence, so that's always a plus.In all fairness the product didn't claim to help with CIC, I was just hopeful so if you have IBS it may help, I don't think it can hurt.

Product Caused MAJOR Constipation! Beware OF Seller!
This review is for the seller as well as for the product. I contacted the seller multiple times PRIOR to ordering regarding how the product is shipped. I live in the Las Vegas area and temperatures were in the triple digits, when I inquired. The seller ignored all my messages. Phone number provided in the pictures only plays a voice message referring to Kijimea's website Q & A and then disconnects the call. The phone number listed on Amazon's Q & A section does not work, either. I contacted Amazon and Amazon Logistics - neither one of them could reach Stam Sales or find out anything about shipping, but I was assured that the product would arrive safely and temperature controlled as Kijimea IBS needs to be stored at or below 77 degrees Fahrenheit. When I took a leap of faith and ordered the product my one day shipping was switched to 2 days. When the package arrived it was left outside my front door in a regular padded envelope and very warm to the touch. My thermometer showed that the temperature inside the envelope and package were close to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I contacted Amazon to get a refund and reordered the product with the option to picking it up at my local Whole Foods in hopes that the product would be temperature controlled. Even though it wasn't as bad, the temperature inside the box was still above the recommended storage temperature (low 80's) sitting outside on a shelf. I still proceeded to give the product a try and took it faithfully for over a week. The reason why I purchased Kijimea IBS was to get relief from bloating/ abdominal distention and occasional constipation. After taking the product for a couple of days I noticed my bowel movements changing and getting more and more constipated every day. My abdomen usually starts out flat in the morning, but gets bloated over the course of the day. After I took Kijimea for several days, I woke up with a swollen tummy every day in addition to being constipated. Maybe this product works for IBS connected with diarrhea or for other people, but it definitely didn't help me with my bloating issues or regularity. Aside from the fact that the product caused more problems for me than I had prior to taking this "medical food", Stam Sales needs to get their act together! According to Kijimea U.S. they are the ONLY reseller for the North American market selling via Amazon. SHAME ON THEM for ignoring their customers and shipping the product in an unsafe way that results in a spoiled product!!

Damaged due to improper packaging by amazon
This is a good product, albeit expensive. Both of my orders were damaged upon receipt due to flimsy packaging by Amazon, which allowed the product package to be crushed and some of the capsules unusable.
