Great kit for my tools and knives. I just wish they would have been in a storage case when not in use.

I recieved this knife sharpening set and tried it immediately. I had some rough knives and a few that weren't as sharp as I would like. This system of sharpening was amazing! I have used several other sharpeners and none of them even came close to the edges I achieved with this set. I had a knife I thought was just a bad purchase because I tried everything to sharpen it previously. I had completely written off ever using it. I sharpened it to a razor with this set. I am resharpening every knife I own with this set. I am so pleased!!!

This whole set is amazing. The stones feel like great quality, and there are many things I find amazing about this: 1: The rubber base is perfect for holding the stones in place, zero slipping while you are making your knife razor sharp (it’s a good thing, I promise) 2. Having 4 stones in one is all you need to make your knife sharper than ever before. You can even use the extremely rough stone (made for re-flattening the stones if/when they get uneven w/ use) to make more drastic changes to the blade. I used it to make a knife double edged. 3. There are so many accessories, I am honestly confused how and WHY this is so cheap. The stones, base, knife guide for better edge (or beginners), chisel sharpening accessory, anti-cut gloves that work great (see video), and strop. The only quality issue I see is the strop, but it does the job and is not absolutely necessary to have. Final note, knife sharpening does take time to master. If you’re not good at it right away, just focus on keeping your angle the same every time you run the knife down the stone. One wrong stroke after ten correct strokes can leave you with a dull knife.

First off, love the set and all the accessories. Everything works well and the guide makes it easy to keep a steady angle. Also, these stones work! I’ve gone through 7 of my knives all of which needed the blades fixed due to chips caused from cheap, crappy pull-through sharpeners. These stones fixed all of them up and they’re super sharp now with a nice bevel and even edge. But, after 7 knives, I’d say I’m about half-way through the 400 / 1000 grit stone. The 400 numbers have already worn down where you can’t see them and the 1000 numbers are almost gone. When comparing to the 3000/8000 stone it’s half the size. What’s the takeaway? This seems like a great beginners set. I’m a beginner. This is my first foray into stone sharpening and so this set is great for that. But darn it all the one stone is wearing out WAY faster than I expected. I’m gonna have to look into getting stand alone 400 and 1000 grit stones to replace the one that came in this set. But if you’re a beginner like me, I’d still recommend this set. Great to learn on.

Nice sharpening set.

I'm very impressed with the comprehensive nature of this Sharpening Stone Set. I sharpen all of my kitchen knives and workshop blades so, having a good set of whetstones is vital. Not many things are more dangerous than blunt or chipped blades and, keeping them in good order is essential for kitchen and workshop safety. This Set really is very good indeed and should give good service for many years use.

Lovely kit, well put together. My One little gripe is that it needs a heavier box for shipping as the one I got was not sealed , (although I don't think any are sealed) and could have opened.

The stones work well, excellent value, easy to set up and use.

Good for entry level sharpeners, but you would eventually want to move onto proper sharpening stones like KING. The set is not bad, the base is a bit plasticy and low quality, but overall price happy.
