Definitely on the buy again list!
This is the perfect notebook and exactly as described. Perfect size, perfect weight paper-I chose grid pattern. The cover is the exact rich color, very supple, feels good in your hand. Even unexpected, includes a magnetic bookmark matching the cover. Will truly enjoy having and using this notebook.

My Favorite Sketchbook for pen, pencil & marker
For a long time I've tried different brands, searching for my favorite sketchbook and I think I've found it here- in fact, its got me sketching more than ever!I love the soft leatherette cover and the flexibility of it- I like to sketch in bed while watching TV and its nice to be able to fold it in half. I've never liked spiral bound so to be able to do that in a softcover sketchbook is amazing.Materials-wise the paper can take most pens and markers- of course alcohol-based markers will bleed but I've always liked the bleed-thru effect, looks like stained glass windows. Its not a watercolor sketchbook however so don't expect it to handle paints though water-based markers worked perfectly fine! Also ballpoint pen, when pressed hard can indent the paper like it will most other light to medium weight papers so for ballpoint pens and markers always put a scrap piece of paper under the page you're working on

Impressed
This was a step away from the norm for me, as I lean more towards the hard cover notebooks. It took a little getting used to, but I've really grown to like it.1. I'm glad that the book is offered in the B5 size. Grid ruled options in that size were very limited compared to the next size down, but B5 is perfect for my daily to do lists. I frequently have to do sketches for work, and the extra space comes in handy for notations around these sketches. If a letter size option was available, I would try it, but for now B5 is my thing.2. The grid pattern / sizing is perfect for me - neither too big or small. It may be a standard size, but I have come across too small grids, and this is just right.3. I was a bit disappointed in the brightness of the gridlines at first - my last couple journals / day books had slightly thicker and brighter lines - but over the course of a couple weeks, I was happy enough with it. It does look a little faded, but in daytime it is bright enough for my eyesight. In lower lighting I may stray a little bit because of how faint the lines are. On the other hand, light sketches done with a light pencil don't have to compete with bright gridlines, so it has worked out well for my drawing style.4. High page count - is something I needed. 100 sheets (200 pages) is below what I really wanted, but not by much. I tend to journal on one side of the page, and sketch, or calculate stuff on the facing page, but I'm just past the halfway mark at 4 months. I often have to reference things I calculated a few months before, so less than 100 sheets is not ideal. At the same time, the book is thin enough to slide into my laptop bag, where it shares space with my previous daybook.5. Page thickness was also a consideration for me, and I'm satisfied. Bleed through has not been an issue. It is there, but not bad enough to be a problem for my work. The product info does say 'premium paper' after all, and does not state a gsm, so I haven't been misled in any way.6. Page colour (Yes, I spelt it with a 'u') is more white and less brown than my other daybooks, and I actually like it. This may be an issue of taste is most cases, but it may be a functional issue for others.7. The main advertised feature being the 360 degree fold-ability, hasn't been a big deal for me. Hardcover is nice when you aren't seated at a desk and are writing in the field. But the few times when I did fold the book all the way, it tickled my brain not feeling or hearing the book strain while doing so.So despite my original regrets that I had overpaid for this book, and my determination (2 days in) never to buy one again, I'm actually planning to get another one. Soon.I forgot to mention that the rounded page edges are actually nice.

Great notebook with the right writing instrument
The cover material is great, feels wonderful in the hand. Very flexible notebook. Nice printing, the same on each page. Grid is dark enough to work with (you listening Satlogy?) but still unobtrusive. Paperclip is unique and a nice touch. Single card stock page at inside front and back to add stiffness. However, the listing says fountain pen friendly, but I have to disagree. Paper showed no feathering, but demonstrated an unacceptable amount of show-through and bleed-through. I'd expect some show-through with 400 pages this thin, and that can be mitigated with a pencil board, but there's no way around the bleed-through. I'd have preferred a thicker coating that might increase dry-time but would help with the bleed through.

Handy book
Awesome notebook. Perfect size to toss in my bag on the go. Big help with keeping all my class notes in one place. Wish it was a little cheaper but no real complaints.

One of my favorite journals ever!
This is one of my favorite journals! I've bought from Zequenz before, and I'm impressed with its quality every time. It's such a flexible little book, and I can take it pretty much anywhere! Be advised, you'll experience some bleeding if you use markers or Sharpie, but Zequenz journals work really well for notes and sketches. Will buy again :)
