Weave Got Maille Japanese Chain Maille Bracelet Kit-Black Lace, Onyx/Silver

I ordered this for my daughter for her birthday. She requested supplies for chain maille jewelry making. I didn't know where to start because she doesn't always follow through on her good-ideas. I ordered several of these kits and got her some pliers and a storage/work tray. The instructions were easy to follow, the pictures are helpful and easy to see, the rings themselves are sized perfectly and nicely round with no sharp edges. A+ for the quality of the jump rings. You get what you need to make a bracelet with some extra pieces left over. She does not have super small wrists, so this will be sufficient pieces for most people.I recommend this as an option for anyone who wants to learn a new design or try chain maille before deciding whether or not they want to invest in a large number of ready made rings or tools for making their own. It's a great place to start. Great quality.The kits did not come in a box as pictured when I ordered, they came in a thick plastic zip bag with a photo sticker label. They did include a fuzzy work mat which is great for working with any beads or jewelry making project. I would have liked the box for wrapping the gift, but it was a decent trade off to have the mat included instead.
