These are solid hinges. Its not in the description but them material thickness (with coating) is 0.01", and the screws are actually lag bolts, 5/16" x 2.2". Tad bit long for putting into a 2x4 or 2x6 without pushing out the far side, but good if going into a post. I planned to mount 3 on my gate, but 2 are more than adequate, so I have 4 left over. Easy to mount if you have a drill and a driver. I do suggest pre-drilling the holes to prevent splits. They are good looking hinges, no complaints. I'd buy again if needed, but I still have plenty.

These are sturdy and easy to install. I especially like that they come with lag bolt for the hinges rather than screws like many seemed to come with. The hinges themselves are absolutely solid and sturdy, they support more weight then the last ones I had. With the old ones I had to use three per gate where as with these two per gate give even more support and weight distribution.
