I buckle my Lil babies in on each car ride. They quickly adapted & now stay still while in the car. It also prevents any door dashers from jumping out before asked. I have multiple small dogs & it keeps them safe. I attach a multi-dog leash splitter to their harnesses, & the seat belt is attached to the splitter & then buckled in securing my Lil fur-babies (& big ones too). Be sure to use a HARNESS to attach them to seat belt. A collar would be dangerous, potentially lethal. As always, make sure your pet is micro-chipped. Very inexpensive ($22 @ my local vet) but effective.
