It's mostly a great improvement over my old leather wallet.
My leather wallet was also a double width so that when closed it was two credit cards wide, the same as this one. But loaded with cards it was almost twice as thick (32 mm vs 17 mm). Each time I pick it up I am amazed again at how thin and light it is.I have 20 cards in it, and it works, but I think it would be more convenient with a multi-page transparent card insert (** See Update Below**). However, that would probably add too much thickness unless it could be made out of some kind of very thin mylar. The way it is I can find and remove the card I want pretty easily as long as I remember where I put it. With a transparent sleeve it is immediately visible and easy to find. But if you only have 8 or so cards, this is perfect. (See update below)I also find the money slot a little tight. It's hard to spread it open far enough to scan through the bills and find the right one. And I also miss the divider in my old wallet that I used to separate 20s from 1s, 5s and 10s. It just made it more organized and convenient. But despite these missing features, I'm ready to give them all up for the convenience of such a thin wallet.Update: After a couple of weeks of use, I have some more impressions. It turns out I don't miss the transparent card insert. It's easy to find and remove the card I want. My only remaining complaint is that it doesn't open wide enough to scan through for the right bills. If I have a few 20s, 5s and 1s in my wallet and I want to pull out $6, I pretty much have to pull everything out of the wallet and shuffle through the bills in my hands. If the wallet opened a little wider, maybe had a little elastic at the edges, I could find the bills in the wallet. This sounds like a minor thing, but it is a little irritating.Still, every time I pick it up I marvel at how thin and light it is.4 Month Update: Love it. Slim, feels really good in my hands. My brother got the Tyvek version. It's definitely thinner, but I like the feel and durability of this version. Showing absolutely no wear.14 Month Update: Still looks new. The material wears incredibly well. My brother replaced his Tyvek version within 6 months, as it was showing lots of wear by then. I still love this one. Best wallet I've ever had.4 Years Later: Still looks new! I'm sure if I held a new one next to it I would be able to see some changes, but it is not obvious. Corners, stitching, fabric, all pristine. It's a great wallet.

If you use RFID sleeves on your credit cards, buy the Slimfold with RFID built In
I've been using this wallet for a week. While I have no idea how durable it will be, it does almost everything I hoped it would do. I use it in my front pocket. I'm 5' 9" and wear regular fit jeans most of the time, but also dress slacks for client meetings. This wallet and my Samsung Galaxy S3 fit well in the same pocket regardless of what I wear. I'm not sure that would be true if you wear skinny fit jeans. It might be a back pocket wallet in that case. It holds everything I need without compromise and remains thinner by a fair margin than my old leather wallet. At present it contains my license, eight items the thickness of a credit card, seven business cards, and about eight dollar bills. It has room for a few more items if need be. The quality is reasonable and it looks good. Be aware that being made of cloth this is not a status wallet. However, it looks good enough that I'm happy to carry it with me and use at business luncheons. The one issue is that I have for years carried my credit cards in RFID sleeves and the way the slots on this wallet are made you will not be able to use RFID sleeves. They simply don't fit. Therefore, if you want RFID protection, you should buy the version of this wallet that has RFID protection sown into it. Overall, a solidly designed and made product that I'm very happy I purchased.Update 3/11/18: After almost two years of use, it's holding up very well. Much better, in fact, than my last leather wallet. The only complaint that I have is that it could be just a few millimeters wider. Receipts can stick slightly out of the bill area, because it's trying to be so small. It's a minor issue and I will happily buy from Slimfold again when this wallet wears out.

Best wallet I have ever owned!
My old leather bi-fold was reaching the end and I am going to have to carry a couple more cards. Bi-fold leather wallet was getting uncomfortably thick and decided to look at alternatives. This led to all kind of funky minimalist wallets, most of which either could carry cash/receipts and were too much work to operate. This wallet was mentioned in some reviews as kind of the OG minimalist wallet. Looked at videos and reviews and decided to take a chance. After two weeks, this is the perfect wallet for me - carries the ton of cards i need, a little cash, is very thin when packed, and very comfortable in pocket. I ended up liking all the slots better than i expected as it makes it easier to organize cards by purpose. The back slots seem a little tighter and you have to stretch a little to get a card inserted. The material has an interesting feel - vaguely like neoprene mixed some other synthetic. Not slippery, stays in pocket well, will see how it wears. So far i love it and it is the best designed wallet I have ever owned.
