L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Metallic Eye Shadow Duos, Charged, 0.08 Ounces

These are one of the greatest eye shadow duos available on the market. I'm not a pro, but I've been a "make-up enthusiast" since I was 14 yo, so I've used a lot of brands and colors in 20 years....I just LOVE the intensity of the pigments, the consistency, the way it glides on your lids and how it stays put for long hours.Couple of brush strokes and it's nice and done, I don't have to keep adding more layers...until it feels like flour on your eyelids.I'm a white blonde, but I'm not afraid to use high intensity pigments. I know HIP was designed mainly for dark skinned women, but it works for me just as great. (Besides, the HIP black eyeliner is the blackest, smoothest eyeliner EVER- it's my secret weapon! I refuse to use anything else)I have about 10 of these and I couldnt be happier. It's a lot of product in them and they're gonna last me a looong time.I'd highly recommend, for any skin tone

I bought this a Walmart a few years back, and was disappointed to find that they stopped carrying it! Was extremely excited to find it here, years later!I noticed several reviewers mention that it doesn't stay on long--so keep in mind that is not going to be the all-day wear that you get from high end makeup, at least not by itself. I use a primer (urban decay) and I layer an creamy neutral base shadow (smashbox) underneath, and then use this product over it, to give a little extra color and dimension, and it lasts 12+ hours. It goes on more like a powder than a cream, even though the texture is not completely dry.I was originally disappointed at how little of the eyeshadow is actually included in the container, as it may be a bit misleading. The bottom portion of the package is hollow, with a small applicator (padded brush) inside. Still, it's a good deal for the price. I get a lot of compliments on the colors, and I'd highly recommend to shoppers with brown eyes and darker features. It really makes your eye color pop!

I just bought this today in the Charged duo pack and I love it! I am black with fairly dark skin (think somewhere between milk and dark chocolate, but closer to milk). I have been looking for an eyeshadow that 1. shows up on my skin and 2. lasts for a while. I bought this and I am excited to say that it does just that.The gold and rust color are pretty vibrant and show up wonderfully. I have pretty oily eyelids so I usually put a coat of eye primer on first and it lasts for a while.I definitely recommend this to girls with darker skin looking for colors with some oomf and staying power.

I ordered this in Electrified, and let me start by saying the product is darker than in the picture. The left is a darker sort of a white-gold and the right is a maroon color. The gold is very pigmented and glittery while the maroon isn't as pigmented and less sparkly.The maroon doesn't show up as well on my brown skin, so I have to layer it if I want it to show up really well. Otherwise it's a lot more subtle, which I like. The gold color shows up nicely, though.The gold has a decent amount of fallout when applying; I usually end up having to wipe eyeshadow from below the outer corners of my eyelid. I would recommend wearing this with a primer. One thing I don't like is that the gold tends to settle into the wrinkles on my eyelids and accentuate them, so keep that in mind if you have wrinkly eyelids like I do.

I saw this shadow on a beauty bloggers chanel. Rather than search store to store i hopped on amazon and ordered it. Its a great quality long wearing shadow. I get a ton of compliments every time I wear it. It stands up to my oily eye lids well..however i do wear a primer. I wear this often..especially on date nights with a wispie false lash. Great combo.

I'm sad they discontinued these. I love electrified the most of all the colors and bought back ups. The pewter color is my favorite. I don't go for the plum shade as often but everytime I wear this eyeshadow (either one or both) I get asked what I have on my eyes.I love adding the pewter color to smokey eyes for a bit of shimmer. Hoping I find something to replace it when I do run out of the ones I bought.

I am blonde with green eyes and wanted a purple/plum shades and green shades to play them up. First off, Loreal HIP shadows are just fabulous and such high quality shadows. The colors are magnificent. They go on so well. Like the others in this line, the colors can be subdued and natural with a slight hand application or more striking using a heavier hand and more product. It just depends on the look you want. Women from teens to 90+ (I am 61) can wear these colors. Older women can wear bright colors well! Don't be afraid to try it. SHOCKED - The gold is very soft and has a lovely shimmer to it. Greens are tough to find the right shade but this green is just the perfect slightly metallic shade. ELECTRIFIED - The plum is a deep muted shade, with shimmer, almost into the browns. You could do a really great smokey eye with this one. The taupe is such a wonderful soft, shimmery shade. I just love it! I also bought the FLAMBOYANT duo which is also fabulous. I love the high pigment colors of this line. Can't wait to buy more! These shadows are like a powder - cream to me and go on so beautifully without creasing and wear really well. If you are on the fence with these colors...go for it, you will be glad you did!

This wasn't the color that was described in the prescription. It is black and yellow and has nothing to do with brown or gold. It's not right

Un super belle effet qur les peaux noires. Il tient toute la journée moi qui ait la peau grasse et qui perd toutes traces de maquillage au bout de 2 ou 3 heures après application il est vraiment top.

I love the colors of this eyeshadow duo. My eyes are hazel, and the lighter color really brings out the green in them. The texture of this eyeshadow, though, isn't great and doesn't go on too smoothly. But, otherwise, it's a really good shadow for the money.

Vu le prix je ne m'attendais pas à un miracle, mais le boitier est cheap, les ombres quelconques... pas indispensable
