Fantastic Tikka Masala curry sauce. We made this with jalapeno diced tomatoes because it was the kind of diced tomatoes we had on hand and oh my goodness! We were floored by this chicken dish. We served this in a bowl layer with jasmine rice, peas and carrots and the saucy chicken on top. It exceeded our expectations. We will double the amount of chicken next time.

I find this curry paste to be significantly better than the simmer sauce. Those generally are lacking in flavor and taste. This paste is a MUCH strong flavor profile and worth the extra money over the simmer sauce.

PATAK’S TIKKA MASALA SPICE PASTE This is the best! I use it to marinate my chicken. It does not have a lot of heat. My Grandchild loves the chicken I make with it. I use skinless chicken, make some slits in the chicken and sprinkle on lemon juice. I mix 2 tablespoons of this paste, add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt, I add garlic, onion, turmeric, ginger powder, etc. (or your favorite spices and add extra heat to your preference). Add everything in a plastic bag, mix everything together to coat and marinate at least 2 hours in refrigerator, I like to leave it overnight, then I grill it. Great hot or cold!

I have tried so many different kinds of marinades and sauces but this one HITS! The flavor is amazing and the spice levels is perfect.

This is absolutely a must have for Curry lovers, we regularly purchase different varieties of this brand but this one is a favourite, you can make several meals with a thick creamy sauce, whether you use yoghurt, cream, coconut cream, or you can add just a little bit to your rice, stir fried rice, stews and casseroles or other meals for a little extra "curry” flavour. Generally speaking one jar of paste will make about 4 delicious creamy meals, this may vary on usage and it has a decent mid-range heat without being too much, what I would call a comfortable heat! So do be careful if you don't like the heat, they have others which are more mild but just as good as well as hotter, just follow the recipe on the jar and you're done! This review is for the paste specifically, they have sauces as well, "ready to use" which are also very good! PS I highly recommend looking for some Indian flatbed to go with your meal, it's called Naan bread and can be found in most reputable grocery stores.
