Would this work ina bathroom to hang towels/robes/etc

It's very small and would need to be anchored well to accommodate a robe. There are five adjustable hooks which are three inches apart. So smaller items might work best. I'm only using it as a decoration.

How far do hooks extend from wall?

They angle outwards an inch and a half or so. I also added glow in the dark paint in a few of the windows. Gives it a realistic nighttime cool look when my child turns her bedroom light out.

What is the distance between each hook? I am planing on using it to hang hats, is there enough space in between each hook?

About 4 inch. I don't think it would fit adult hats. But if you just use one or two of the hooks to hang hat and use the others to hang some small stuff, say, scarf, it should be fine.

Is it sturdy enough to hang a leather jacket?

Yes, it will hold one leather jacket and one other lighter jacket, but probably not two leather jackets at once. It is more decorative than functional, but it does the trick for lighter jackets.
