Universal Replaced Remote Control Compatible with Insignia Smart TVs & Toshiba Smart TV

This worked great right out of the package. No problems with the volume and home buttons. The only problem I had was I could not get it to pair with my TV which is an Insigna Fire TV. There were no instructions or anything with the remote. It was in a plain yellow envelope. But, that being said I am happy with this purchase as I didn't use the voice that much anyway.

Good OEM replacement don't need to program, just put in batteries and use! Does NOT have voice control available on this model! (Yes, my dog chewed the original that came with my TV when he was a puppy. It still worked but was pretty badly damaged, I used it until he got out of his chewing on almost everything he could get at stage, and purchased this replacement!)

I ordered this remote to use with my Element EL4KAMZ5517 Fire TV, as my original remote stopped working. This remote did not need to be paired, it worked right away. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be a perfect match. When I click on the Prime Video button the TV does not redirect to Prime Video. In order to get to Prime Video I have to turn the TV off, then restart, then navigate through my Apps screen to successfully get to Prime Video. Also, if I am in the Netflix app, and I click on the Home button, nothing happens. I should be routed to the home screen. Element does not make my original remote any longer, nor can I find one out in the marketplace. Thus I'm using this one with limited functionality.

This remote it very unfriendly to use. It is very slow to register your clicks and you need to be very patient with it. I dread using my tv because this remote sucks.

It works as it should. It replaced my original remote that quite working.

The original remote that came with my Insignia Fire TV lasted about one year and then I started having lots of issues with it. I purchased this remote to replace the old one and so far it is has been working great.

I like the improvement in the battery areas which plagued the original remote, however using the directional circle to navigate is poorly designed and you might need to click several times to get it to work! Also it will not pair with my Fire TV.

I wanted to find a good universal remote for my fire tv. I might as well have paid the $40 for an OEM remote just because of the hassle this one causes. The left button of the circle does not work well at all. I feel like I’m about to break the button before it even works; I have to press extremely hard for it to register.

This remote was ordered to replace the one for my Toshiba FireTV which had unexplicably stopped working. It was received quickly and as advertised all I had to do was add batteries. Every once in a while one of the buttons will need to be pushed two or three times to get a response but otherwise a very good value for the money.

To clear things up I left 1 star because it's not what I was expecting it looks like a rough remote I bought it for my mom's tv I will update the review when I bring it to her house and make sure it works on her fire tv

This was so easy to connect with the tv just put the batteries in and it was off and running really pleased with the control

The media could not be loaded.  Terrible. What a waste of money.

Product came fast. Product worked perfectly. No complaints.
