I recently invested into a larger telephoto lens, and needed a monopod to stabilize it while I am shooting. I chose this one because it was pretty cheap, was the smallest collapsed size I saw, and looked decent.I am pretty happy! It is fairly stable, and collapses small enough to fit inside my photography backpack.The only think I don't like are the twister locks, I should have chosen a monopod with clip locks like my tripod - I now know I much prefer that type.

I like the weight of the koolehaoda monopod and the size, however, even with the twist lock of the bottom section securely tightened, if you apply the least bit of pressure it collapses. So I am basically just using the top portions of the monopod, it works fine for me as I am a short person and it still meets my height requirements.

OK but not great, I may return it.

Was exactly as said and feels a lot better constructed and sturdier than ones I tried in a local store.Delivery was super quick too!

Exceeded my expectation in terms of compactness, and strong enough to double up as a hiking stick.Highly recommended this two-in-one product.
