Is this product for the entire paint or only for black plastic?

Meguiar's D15601 Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax is designed to use to protect the paint, but because it dries clear, it is safe and also does an excellent job protecting the black trim (plastic, rubber) on your car. Make sure you clean all black trim prior to applying the wax.

Does it have uv protection? why does meguiar only claim the nxt has uv protection?

I know that Scott from youtube and a few other detailers use this on their interiors but they mention the cleaning it does, not necessarily the UV protection. I'd recommend 303 which leaves things clean looking and a nice coat of uv protection on it. Usually lasts about 2-4 months in my cars depending on how much they're used. If you can only afford one product, I would recommend xpress with the understanding that it likely doesn't offer as much UV protection as 303. If you can afford both, that would be preferable. Maybe start off with a smaller bottle to make sure you like it (warning- the bottles some times leak, a known issue), but odds are you'll be buying the gallon size in no time.

How often should this product be applied? I live in the northwest where it rains a lot and the car is kept outdoors.

As with anything it depends on a lot of factors. On my cars in Maryland that live outdoors, it can last 3-4 weeks easily. With more rain and driving, it would likely break down more quickly. I tend to use it as a drying aid, spraying it on after washing my car but before drying. Don't spray the entire car, only sections so that it doesn't dry on and leave streaks/drops.

Is there any benefit to using this with the M21 Synthetic Sealant? Would this make the sealant last longer, or be useful for cleaning between sealant applications?

If you use this spray wax when the Synthetic sealant is fully cured, this will upgrade the water beading.It's a great product for waxing after you washed the car, but for the cleaning between the application you'll need a Instant detail spray (Meguiar's Last Touch). Kind regards !
