Oooh, shiny!
I bought this to finish pecan pies with, and it works a treat. Not sure how well it shows up in the photo, but in real life it gives a really glossy, smooth finish. The taste is quite neutral (just a faint sweetness, like very weak icing sugar) which is good as it doesn't detract/overwhelm. Very easy to apply, too.
