Super bright with seamless helmet integration
The Giro ROC Loc 5 LED Cycling Helmet Light is a top-quality accessory for anyone who wants to stay visible and safe while out on the road. This innovative helmet light is designed to fit seamlessly onto the Giro Radix (and other Giro) helmet and provides an extra layer of visibility during rides. One of the key features of this tail light is its rechargeable battery, which eliminates the need to replace batteries regularly. The battery can be charged via USB and provides up to 10 hours (on strobe) or 2 hours of continuous use on a single charge. This means that you can ride with confidence, knowing that you won't run out of battery power in the middle of a ride. The LED light itself is bright and highly visible, even in low-light conditions. It can be easily turned on and off with the push of a button, and its position at the back of the helmet ensures maximum visibility to other road users. Additionally, the light seems to be quite durable and weather-resistant casing make it a reliable choice for regular use. The best part of The Giro ROC Loc 5 LED Light is the integrated attachment system that eliminates the need for a separate mount or strap. The light is securely attached to the helmet using the ROC Loc 5 retention system, ensuring that it won't shake or wobble during rides and is easily powered on/off by reaching the familiar helmet adjustment knob location. Overall, the Giro ROC Loc Light is a must-have accessory for any Giro helmet owner that wants to stay safe and visible while out on the road. Its rechargeable battery, bright LED light, and durable construction make it a solid choice for regular use, and its integrated attachment system ensures a secure fit onto the Giro Radix helmet. I highly recommend this light.

Awesome light
If this thing fits your helmet, get one. Its fantastic. Mine stays on without any issue. And I can recharge it without removing it from the helmet. It does not block the adjustment wheel on the helmet either. Very bright. Great battery life. Better visibility since its on your head vs seat post. 10/10 would recommend.

Good light, very Bright and fits well
Light is bright and fits securely to my Savant helmet with the Roc loc 5 inner. I read on the mfg's website that its fits all helmets with Roc loc 5 that were made November 2021 and after (month and year of manufacture is on a sticker inside the helmet) mine was made that month and year so I just made it! I could see the locking arms potentially wearing out from being taken off and on repeatedly, but the unit can be charged while attached so I am leaving it on to reduce wear.

Too bright, does not last long
Not worth the money. It was two modes: Flash and solid. Both are very bright which is great during the day but at night they are so bright they can be distracting (in a bad way) to cars and other cyclists riding behind. Because both modes are so bright, the batteries don't last long. My typical commute is about 3 hours a day, and I have to charge it before every ride or it will be dead for the next one. For my rides longer than 3 hours the light does not last. I would strongly prefer less bright to annoy my fellow cyclists less while still being visible for a longer time than bright, annoying, and quickly out of battery power.

Works with Giro Roc Lock 5
Love that it just fits with my Giro helmet without being part of the helmet. Pros: Very Bright Charges fast Cons: Attachment is not secure. I drilled holes in the tabs and used twist ties for a permanent connection. Only 2 light modes: On + Flash. Needs a flash mode with a longer cycle.

Brilliant Light!!
O.k., I just got mine, and had to turn it on and see what it could do. Boy! This thing is BRIGHT!!! I am happy with it, before I even place it on the helmet. As bright as it is, it should be useful during the daytime also. I don't want it falling off the helmet, so I purchased some double-side tape, to attach it to the helmet. Ensure when you are unwrapping that you do not throw your charging cable away. Look carefully. When you are charging there is a light that blinks, in the middle of the flasher, right above the power button. Would I recommend this item--absolutely. I think that this is a great safety device for bike riding. UPDATE: Just got helmet. The light fits ok on my helmet. The reviewer that needed the glue pads had a GIRO Syntax MIPS Helmet. I have the Giro Radix MIPS helmet and the light fits securely onto helmet.

If you have a newer Giro helmets a great option.
Attaches securely to newer Giro helmets. Adds additional visibility to your bike besides a rear reflector or seat post light plus redundancy if your seat post light would fail or battery die.

Nice helmet light
I was a bit concerned about how this would fit on my helmet, and how well it would stay on because it doesn’t really look secure. But I can say that it at least fits the GIRO ARIES SPHERICAL helmet very well. I’ve had no issues at all with it. Personally, as someone that rides at night on busy roads, I would not use this as my only rear light because it’s not quite bright enough to be seen from a good distance away. And during the day it can’t be seen at all. But as a backup light that provides a little extra visibility at night it’s a great light.
