I think the pencil tips are valuable and I love those extra tip covers too.

I wore my original pencil tip out and needed to replace it after the metal started showing. I wasn't sure if an Apple knockoff would work very well, so I ordered both this brand AND the official Apple tips to compare. I looked at them with a magnifying glass and I literally cannot tell the difference. These tips are not only half the price, but they 1) work perfectly with no connection or pressure errors, 2) are totally smooth and just as hard as the Apple tips, and 3) screw on tightly to the same exact point on the thread as the Apple tips do (important if you are a heavy user as not being able to tighten enough would cause the tip to unscrew while drawing even more than the original ones do - so annoying).They also sent me some of those silicon tip sleeves that you slide over the hard tip to reduce noise, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how good they are. I don't know if it was a mistake on their part to include them or if they are always included, but I'm a fan. Pressure sensitivity is the same, and drawing with them on a matte screen protector is very similar to the buttery feeling of oil painting.tldr: BUY THIS. Don't waste your money on Apple tips when you can get these identical ones at half the price.

I went through nibs for my Apple Pencil Gen 1 quicker than I'd like to admit, likely due to having a matte screen protector (on the 2nd Gen iPad Pro) for drawing that is wearing down the tips quickly. I just upgraded to the 2020 iPad Pro and the 2nd Gen Pencil, and wanted a way to lengthen the life of the tips, so decided to try these nib covers. I primarily draw and secondarily write/note-take on the iPad, but my testing of the nib tips was first done with drawing, where I found that while they seem great as a layer of protection between the nib and the toothy screen protector, it's noticeably difficult to calculate where your next line will start. The effect can only be compared to a sense of parallax, where I would put the tip-covered Pencil at the end of a previously drawn line and when I start a new line, there's a small space where I didn't put the tip right on the previous line (for a continuous, unbroken stroke). I tried for about 30 minutes to see if I could get used to this in a drawing app but alas, came to the conclusion that it would take much longer than that to get used to the adjustment I'd need to perfect in order to get lines smooth and without gaps. I just don't have time for that when the Pencil alone has zero parallax effect.The extra tips themselves in this package are great, however. I tested a couple of them and they look and feel just like the Apple-branded tip the 2nd Gen Pencil came with new out of the box, and since there's four in this pack for less than $15 (I was paying $20 for a set of four OEM tips), I'll likely keep buying these tips and just disregard the tip covers.

I tried these out with my Ipad Pro Pencil 2 .... not too happy. I'm a freelance artist and need to use the Ipad to draw every day. My original tip wore out after about 6 months., so I bought these thinking I could save some money. They take a bit to get recognized on the Ipad and there is a very slight hesitation when drawing which I hate! AND they are just not accurate or that good. I try to draw a line and it goes all over the place. zig zags across the screen sometimes. NOT good when you are drawing illustrations that need accuracy. I have a brand new Ipad pro and brand new screen cover as well so its the tips for sure. I did NOT have this issue with the original tips from Apple. Besides that, the original tips cost me $19.99 free shipping for a pack of 4 so I'm now just buying those. I switched out and tried all of these tips thinking maybe one was messed up but its all of them. Don't bother really. Just buy the real deal and forget about it.
