Allen Edmonds Men's Full Toe Cedar Shoe Tree

As you may or may not know Allen Edmonds show company purchased the Woodlore Cedar Shoe tree company. Woodlore is a leader in the shoe tree market and all the quality and craftsmanship you’ll find it with the Allen Edmonds. It’s Woodlore with extra branding. That being said it works well. I purchased the full toe version as I wear the standard D width men’s dress shoes. If you do wear wide size shoes I would recommend the split-toe Allen Edmonds shoe trees. Very important you’re not paying more for name rebranding. The pricing is similar between the brands. High quality cedar helps shoes maintain their shape and dry odor free. Cedar naturally contains anti microbial properties. Cedar also absorbs excess moisture to help aid in drying. Very happy with purchase.

I bought these shoes trees to protect the longevity of my Allen Edmonds dress shoes. I checked to make sure that these shoe trees were the right product for the dress shoes model and checked the size (8.5 / D) against the sizing chart. While the chart said that it would be borderline but to get a Small, I definitely think that a Medium is a better fit as the shoe tree is very tight inside the shoe. I also don't think that the curvature of the shoe trees provide a great fit. While I had high hopes buying the Manufacturer's product, I think I may have been better off just buying a third party's rendition.

I got my first pair of these from the Allan Edmond store by me and at first they seemed a bit on the pricey side. After chatting with one of the sales ladies there she convinced me by explaining how they are not only made in the US but they are made from the center part of the cedar tree that is hardest, darkest, and smells the best. I also learned that shoe trees wick out the moisture from your feet when your feet are not in your shoes. I highly recommend spending the $25 on a pair for any shoes or boots you may drop $100, $200, or even $300 on. Yes! $300 fellas on a pair of shoes! Go and buy yourself a nice pair of Allen Edmond shoes and see if you don't get more compliments and looks than ever before! You'll also be supporting US cobblers-you know, the people who used to make shoes...

I picked the Full Toe model for my recently purchased Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenue Cap Toe because the product description said it is was designed specifically for AE shoes. But when inserted, it could not fully occupy the shoe's entire width. I tried using AE Combination which I bought supposedly for my non-AE shoes and it was a better fit because the width of AE Combination widens upon entry in the shoe unlike the Full Toe which is fixed. Moreover, the cedar wood was not well-finished as there are splinters and sharp edges within the two slits that I had to smoothen it with sandpaper.

The shoe trees fit very well and really helps undo the leather creases from daily wear. I have the medium shoe tree and use it in a size 11B shoe - per the Allen Edmonds Tree Sizing Chart. The cedar is well shaped and does have the aromatic smell as expected. The heel and toe sections are connected by a black metal rod.Great overall!

I wanted to get one pair to try in my Allen Edmonds and of course they are great. They smell nice, fit the shoe well to ensure they will keep their shape over the term of ownership.

As others have said this shoe tree works really well. I got a new pair of Allen Edmonds Carson City boots and picked up this shoe tree to go with it. I got a small for my 8.5D shoe and it fits perfectly snug. The spring action of the shoe tree works great and the spring is very strong. Overall the shoe tree seems well made. The handle at the heel makes it easy to take out and I haven't had any issues with the heel damaging the shoe. My boots were a little bit tight around my toes and the tree seems to have helped stretch out the leather just the perfect amount so that the shoe isn't as snug anymore which I appreciated.

I have 9.5EEE Allen Edmonds shoes and this fits perfectly in them (Medium). Easy to get in an out and a good cedar smell.

These are great shoe trees. They fit well into my AE shoes as well as some other shoes, and the spring is strong enough that it actually stretches the shoe (unlike some other shoe trees sold on Amazon). Highly recommended and well worth the extra money over the cheaper shoe trees.

I ordered a small for my Allen Edmonds Strand size 8.5D. If you're unsure which size to get, go to the official allen edmonds website and look for your desired shoe trees in their product listing. It will have a size chart in the product description.

The shoe tree is good, but it was unevenly covered by some sort of residue(paint/coating/glue, I don't know). The unknown residue sands off, but it's still annoying.
