We used this leather to stamp on with rubber mallets and stamps. This leather worked great! I cut it into strips so I could make keychains so I was able to get a bunch out of one sheet. The leather is so soft and the stamps show up well! It does scratch easy if you run your nail over it so just be careful. I'd definitely buy this again! The color was a great brown!

Good leather & well presented .

The leather seems to be of good quality. I saw some posts about it being fake leather due to the fibers on the back looking so uniform. As u can see with a quick brushing with a suede brush the fibers loosen and you can see that its real leather. The size on my piece was exactly 12x24in. The thickness seems to be very uniform and a good do it all weight 4-5oz. There were some small blemishes but its to be expected with a natural hide. I will be purchasing again!

I got the 12x24 piece of Dark Brown leather. I wanted to make my own planner cover - nothing fancy - I just hate it when planner covers have the button/buckle strap and the cover doesn't lay perfectly flat - so I got my own piece and made a cut for an A5 ring binder mechanism and also an A6 personal size ring binder mechanism. I was delighted that I was able to get 2 cuts out of the 12x24 piece. The item came carefully rolled and wrapped - so when I unrolled it, there were no marks or scratches. Now I am able to scratch up and mark my planner cover exactly how I want so that it achieves a nice worn look to it. Great value for the money. The thickness was perfect for me - pliable to flop how I wish, but also thick and stiff enough to be protective and hold it's shape. The dark brown color looked like the image description - or maybe a hint lighter than the image - could be the angle I look at it. I was able to cut it with a pair of sewing scissors and punch holes in it with a belt hole punch. I did not try to sew it. I'm looking forward to getting other colors in the future.

I’m no expert in leatherwork but I needed some good heavy leather to make the hinge on a very special cedar wood box I was crafting to contain a fine art book. I used hand made copper nails, and added some Sno-Seal waterproofed to this leather, cut and punched the piece and was satisfied about longevity and feel. I also used it for the button latch, and to edge the box display stand that I made too. Very high quality stuff, and not a ton of leftover materials for me too.

Made in China and it feels rubbery. Used some for a knife sheath. My leather cutting tools are having a hard time punching through and it does not take a leather stamp at all. Even with a 9oz ball peen hammerConsidering covering my craft table with this material. My new sheath is incredibly durable as it doesn't scratch like leather. I did resort to using a drill and some new sharp bits for making holes for stitching. My leather punches did not want to go through and the holes close up unless you have a hole puncher.I can't shape it like leather either. A sharp hobby knife will cut very cleanly. Does not sand very well with 60, 80, 120, 220, 300 or 600 grit paper.Material glues well. Kinda wish my work boots were made out of this stuff.Seems extremely water repellent. I think it's a great choice for generic holsters or sheathes.Works very well as a hobby mat.

I love the quality and feel of this leather, I’ve ordered it many times. I usually order color “Dark Brown” but the leather I receive is different every time. It’s not a slight color difference, but just a different option from the ones you can select. It would be nice if someone were to check that they’re sending out the right order to the right client. I e had to replace and deal with returns almost every time u order it.
