Not as good as they claim
ok i would like to start off with saying i got these on Amazon's lighting deals for like 22.00. with that being said our 12ft long metal antenna is loads better than these.we put them in almost every window on almost every wall and some tvs would get channels and the others would be missing those same channels. we did everything we could possibly think of and got nothing for reception. sad part was they kind of worked better on a wall rather than a window. also during a storm it was like have satellite tv again. the channels would get digitized and cut out.these are not even worth the lighting deal price.i returned them for a refund because lets face it the old 30 year old antenna worked better than these.

Depending on your TV or maybe where it sits this might work. If you are using one now and it works I would not bother changing
The nice part of this is that it is flat and has a long line for hanging. The bad, for me, is that it only partially works on one of my TV's and does not work at all on the other one. I had to put the old antenna back on. I also lost channels on the TV that I still have the new antennae on. There is a good chance that I will be removing that and putting the one I have back on. Lesson learned for me is that I don't think any of these types of antennas work unless maybe you spend a fortune on one. As it is, I have now lost the $22 or so that I paid for it.

works as described. purchased as part of my reducing my TV costs by $70/mo.
works exactly as described. i had to place one high on my wall, but this was a step toward cutting my $170/mo xfinity bill to about $20/mo for tv, after purchasing the necessary equipment, which was a one-time cost of about $200. (roku stick, $35, these antennas, and a two-tuner device that lets me record cable channels to my pc.)the $170 xfinity bill included an (excellent) internet connection, which i've kept, for $60, meaning that my monthly savings is about $70/mo, or $840/year. worthwhile.

excellent reception, I have to give five stars for ...
I am getting 13 channels, excellent reception, I have to give five stars for the two antennas they both work. The one inside the house (not near a window) I need to move the antenna around to get channel 5, that is no problem I just spin it to a new direction and all fixed. Real good buy.

Works Kinda how expected...
This item seemed to work the first day perfectly fine, turned the tv on next morning and no signal - had to add the amplifier for it to work again but the signal cuts in and out making it seem as tho the amplifier doesn't really serve a purpose... should have just went to walmart

They don't pick up enough channels and the picture get broken up.

Works.
It all depends on placement and patience, once you use those it's all good. I had to buy an end table to put mine on for it to work well I get all local channels.
