This is the perfect reference bible for AD

Great Book overall
This was a great read. There was a few spelling mistakes though but apart from that, in terms of AD this is the guy and I will certainly buy the next one.

Yeah, one of the best I've read and great links to relevant sites/pdfs for additional reference. What a bargain.

Very good coverage of Active Directory and many related technologies
I have been reading AD books for over 20 years now, and this is one of, or possibly, the best yet.As well as covering all the traditional on prem AD features and services it does a great job of covering the overlap (and differences) with Cloud Services. For anyone looking to start working with AD (it will be around a while yet in many organisations (despite their optimistic visions of cloud only by next weekend) this is a good place to start as it goes through all of the key information in a manner you won't find by just using web searches.Just as AD is not yet dead, neither are books ;-)

A book that covers a lot more than just Active Directory..........................
I found this book to be a reference guide for latest information related to Active Directory. And should be a companion guide for every person working with Active Directory. Chapter 2 & 3 Introduced latest update to AD. Then straight away went into best practices for a good solution. The whole book is littered with useful PowerShell snippet to get the job done quickly. AD Migration in Chapter 06 shows Author's depth of knowledge. It should have definitely saved me many hours of consolidating information. So much information is packed in to Chapter 10. Which answers all things related to GPO's. But just when I thought it cannot get any better. I started reading Chapter 13. This chapter explains the dark arts of PKI and AD CS. Followed by AD FS and Advanced AD management with PowerShell. Then conversation moved in Azure AD and AD Connect services in Chapter 18. I am starting to that book title does not do justice to this book. Chapter 20 introduced me to some techniques that I did not know existed. To summarize. This should be a reference guide for new AD Admins. And a companion guide for veteran/occasional AD admins.

Must read Active Directory Book
Without a doubt the best book I've read on Active Directory. The explanations are very clear and transparent, with plenty of diagrams and relevant screen shots and Well Structured. If you're in any doubt related to AD just visit the authors' website or refer to his one of Active Directory books.I wasn't disappointed when I started reading.I know AD consultants that don't know half the stuff that's in this book.

Very informative and up-to-date
I really enjoyed reading this book, it is clear, concise and well written. A must read for anyone working with Active Directory. It can be used to refresh and update knowledge if you already have experience, and is well structured and contains good examples that make it easy to understand the content if you have less experience. The information is up-to-date and includes a lot of useful references and links.

Detailed Publication
Well written especially the security element with important concepts such as PAW's covered. A good publication for someone starting out with the technology or for someone to refresh existing knowledge and ensure they are are updated.
