VIVID SCRIBBLES Dotted Journal – 160gsm Bleed Proof Thick White Paper – 200 Numbered Dot Grid Pages – 5.8 x 8.3 inch Dotted Notebook : desertcart.in: Office Products Review: I’ve purchased multiple journals from Vivid Scribbles, and at this point, I can confidently say they’re my forever journal brand. Every single one I’ve bought has exceeded my expectations. I use these journals for different areas of my life — the Green Flower as my Work/Esthetician journal, the Purple Moon for wellness reflection, the Black Star for future business planning, and now the Purple Celestial for Bible study. Each one feels special, intentional, and luxurious in its own way. What I LOVE: - The dotted layout gives me complete creative freedom with no limits on space. - The thick, premium paper is wonderful. None of my pens, markers, or highlighters bleed through. - They’re 100% vegan, forest-friendly, and the pages are truly ghost-free and bleed-proof. - The Index feature makes it easy to track important pages. - The covers are solid, stunning, and durable , and they feel expensive. - The pen-test pages in the back are a thoughtful touch I use every time. A few small things to improve: - The stickers are okay, but the designs aren’t my favorite. I wish they came with a clear background instead of white so they’d blend in better. - The back folder is a bit tight — I usually have to fold papers slightly, which defeats the purpose. - I’d love to see more cover designs in the future, especially ones inspired by the beauty industry (a simple lipstick, abstract woman’s face, etc.). Despite those minor things, these journals are genuinely the best I’ve ever used. The quality, feel, and overall experience make them completely worth it. If you’re a journal lover, creative, or someone who just wants a premium writing experience, Vivid Scribbles is unmatched. Review: The positive - micron pens sizes 005-08 don’t show through - index and page numbers - thick paper The negative - the strap broke very quickly The not quite good but not a dealbreaker - watercolor can make the pages a little wrinkly, it’s not too bad but definitely not designed for it so go easy - some of the darker highlighters will show through or if you do more than just a light amount of highlighter. For reference the highlighters I use are “bible highlighters” from desertcart and supposedly meant for thin paper but definitely aren’t the highest quality - it does not lay flat when writing in it so it can be a little tricky but because it has a hard cover it’s easy to prop the side on something to make it not at an angle I like the size which is bigger than a pocket book but smaller than a full sheet of paper. Small journals I find hard to write in and big journals are cumbersome. So far the spine is holding up with adding washi tape and stickers, I bullet journal and kind of scrapbook so we’ll see how it does as I continue to add to it. Overall I’m really happy with it and even though it’s not perfect it’s the closest to perfect I’ve found so far (and I’ve been through an embarrassing number of journals).

I have my Celestial Journal in a leather cover from Sojourner. By only tucking the back in it allows me to enjoy the beautiful cover. I did have to cut the elastic band off but I left the pen holder on. I researched quite a few journals and even paid a vast sum of money for a well-known brand with Tomoe River paper. The ghosting was bad in that one, even with nothing but a fine-point pen. I wanted to use the Tombow watercolor brush pens and my fountain pens without any ghosting. The quality of this paper is amazing and there is no ghosting. If I get carried away with my watercolor pens and use water for blending, the pages can warp some but not enough that I consider it important, plus I feel like it gives the book a well-used, authentic look and feel. Also, most journals I have found with this high of a gsm don't have page numbers so that is a big plus. This one is unique also with having 3 ribbons that are actually long enough, which is a huge plus. The high quality of the cover and everything about this journal has impressed me. I have not had any binding issues but you need to remember what to do anytime you get a new book. Hold the book on its spine and fold down the cover on each side, running your hand along the spine to flatten the covers open. Then, taking a small section of pages on both sides, lay those down flat and run your hands along the binding, working your way until you reach the center of the book and it's open flat. That prepares the spine to fold open a little at a time so it doesn't break. I cannot recommend this journal enough and it outshines the higher priced ones by far. When I'm ready to get another one I'm not even bothering to shop around, I'm coming straight for another one of these. 🙂

The quality of the pages and the cover are beautiful. I only have a few things I was less satisfied with upon receipt. Con: - Back pocket doesn't fit the sticker pages that come with the book unless you don't mind them being bent. - The cover is very faded. I was hoping the stars and clouds would be more vivid. Still pretty but very muted. Pro: Everything Else Thick paper Smooth cover 3 bookmarks Size The number of pages I did get the book for my daily listing/doodling so this will serve the purpose I wanted wonderfully. But I do feel for the price of a single notebook that it should have been better in these aspects.

My boyfriend got this for me as a gift because I needed a new bullet journal and I love it! The stickers that it comes with are cute. The journal is very high quality and beautiful. The pages are thicker than any journal I've used before. I did a swatch test with pens, markers, and paints. I pressed hard with my thickest markers and paints, and none would bleed through the pages at all. Paints like watercolor, gouache, and acrylic show up on the paper fine but the paper does not hold water well so you can't get that nice, soft, abstract quality from the watercolors. Also when you have to add a good bit of water, the paper does buckle and wrinkle slightly which is to be expected, but it's not so bad that it's noticeable.
