What a great idea! For the price of a half-dozen comics you can own a decade's worth! Includes every page of every issue of Jughead comics printed in the 1970's.The discs are easy to use, you just pop them in and if your PC is capable of running Windows XP (or beter) then you've got all you need to run this. Requires zero hard drive space, so you won't have to worry about clogging up your PC, although I hope in the future they make these where you have to option to install to your hard drive because then I wouldn't even need to keep up with the disc.The packaging is neat, the box opens like a book and inside you have a DVD case with full color art and on the disc itself even more full color art. It's nice since comics are such a visual medium to see these kinds of graphics. First class packaging all the way!The real star is the great humor and art included. If you grew up with Archie Comics this a great way to reconnect! The pages are really clean, the colors pop and the whites are brilliant! Real care was put into every phase of this project.By the way, back in the 1940's hats were popular and kids used to take old hats their parents were throwing out. They'd flip the hats inside out and cut the brims into jagged patterns. What were these kids nicknamed? Jagheads!Highly affordable - Highly recommended!!

This dvd captures the Jughead comic series for the entire 70s. I didn't realize he was such a woman hater in that decade, and Big Ethel is kinda the one for him. Anyways, the dvd holds all of the comics as pdfs. Unlike some dvd sets, the comics are scanned as 2 pages per 1 pdf page. So you can't look at an individual comic page by itself in Adobe Reader,but always having the left and right pages combined. It's only kinda annoying for a tablet reader, but it does work nicely on a 24 inch screen.I bought this set for about $6 on amazon, so it's amazing what content you get. Each issue is about 3 full stories and a few shorts so you can probably go thru the whole thing in a day or two nonstop.

Other reviews indicate that if you move these comics to your hard drive there will be a water mark across the pages. If there is one I can't see it. Transfered easily to my hard drive and now if I have five minutes I want to burn reading an old Jughead comic, I'm there. I have windows 7 and acrobat 8 installed on my computer if that makes any difference.These old Archie comics are really funny, I forgot how much.

You can now have a sample of the bronze age Jughead funny books all on one disc. Really interesting even for people who didn't grow up with it that are studying the graphic arts in different time periods.

If you loved reading comics as a kid in the seveties, this is a fun and cheap way to re-live them. Jughead is as hungry for hamburgars ans as distrustful of girls as ever. In spite of this, he is the most level headed, stable, and mature of the Archie gang.He and Betty share the moral center.

bought this as a gift and the recepient really has enjoyed watching it. I can hardly wait to borrow it back so I can watch it too. read many jughed and archie comics growing up and this dvd brings back a lot of great memories.
