Sakura Pen-touch Calligraphy Pen Fine Gold

We used this to write out 60 invitations and envelopes. It wrote nicely however, when you feel it start to not work well, run the tip under warm water and shake it and it will start right up again

I’m an artist who uses mixed medium, and I’ve been looking for a gold pen for my card making and I’ve tried dozens of different paint pens. This pen allows me to have much more control and I just love it. I bought it in silver as well.

Great if you only want to use it once. I opened it and got it to make a line on a paper a couple of times. I put cap on tightly and left it on its side until i had time to work on the project i purchased the pen for. As I shook the pen the cap flew off, no big deal. I was going to mark a few lines to make sure it worked but the nib went insider and would not some out. I could tap the ink out but not much use due to the fast dry. I have tried this kind of metalic ink pen before and didn't think this was that kind of pen. In my experience these only work the first time then they usually dump a huge glob of ink onto your project. I don't recommend these for any project that isn't going to be completed in one use. If you plan to try multiple be very careful to keep testing the flow.

The ultra fine nib is too tiny the "paint" doesn't flow that well. I ordered a 1.8mm to help with this problem. I hope. But I really like the shimmer of the gold. I use it on my paintings!!

works great for my family tree chart. Dried out rather quickly even with potting the cap on between uses, but then I live in the desert.

Great pen! Shake well before use, and practice on scrap paper before using. You can write with thin lines or you can angle the pen to get a thicker line as you write, as well. There's a shine to the color that makes the gold color stand out, rather than it being a flat looking gold-brown color like some other pens. I recommend and would buy again! 👍

These are the calligraphy pens not the fine point as described. Really irritating. I’m only giving them 3 stars because the pens are fantastic, just not the ones I ordered.

This pen is exactly what I want. Be careful, it is not for really fine or small work. Was I surprised that the ink flowed so freely, yes. The tip is not pointed, but the corner of it can be used in some small spaces. It will cover other mediums.
