How to Draw Equestria Girls: Draw Equestria Girls for Beginners (My Little Pony Equestria Girls)

Trash. It's literally trash. I don't usually leave salty reviews but this book begs for it. Notice first of all that there are no actual interior pages in the preview. There's a good reason for that, because the images are a joke. I can't prove it but based on my experience as an illustrator I'd bet money that Artz Creation lifts images off the web and uses them in their books. Then they delete parts of the art, (a leg, then an arm, then torso etc) and then put them in reverse order as a "how to draw" guide. How can I say this? Because A: the image quality is horrific, blurred and pixilated. B: The style and quality of ability is different between each drawing. There are also no copyright or trademark indications (ie owned by Hasbro, all rights reserved etc). I'd lay down cash to bet they have no licensing to make any of their books. Worst of all, THERE'S NO TEXT! It's literally just images. No how-to, no explanation. Just images that are likely swiped and reprinted (horribly) in this book. My advice, don't buy anything from Artz Creation. I never will again.

Bought this book as a gift for a child who loves My Little Pony and they have thoroughly enjoyed the book. There are some inconsistent characters labels (Twilight Sparkle was listed in the index and on the pages themselves as something else entirely, and the character that’s supposed to be Fluttershy is just a repeat of the exact same instructions just provided for Pinkie Pie in the book. These might only be errors in the version of the book that was received, but the step-by-step instructions were still very well received by the child who got the book, and they immediately sat and began following along without issue.
