I've been taking kava for a long time now, and about a year ago i decided to start ordering from amazon, for convenience sake. This is one company I hadn't tried yet, so i decided to give it a shot, and i wasn't disappointed. I opened up my package and saw the kava was a nice, fine grind, so i was pleased. The aroma left something to be desired, but this is to be expected with kava (as we all know). I made my first shell and drank it quick... I must say, the taste is worse than just about any kava, but in a mild way? Its strange, it tastes normal except something is inherently off. But since this doesn't affect the quality in any way, it didn't affect the rating. I would recommend adding honey to your grog, or bringing along a strong chaser. All in all the effects were great and balanced, maybe even a bit heavy, but overall a great kava. For anyone looking to try kava, or even someone whos been taking kava for a long time this is for you!

I received a completely impotent bag - little to no effect and I've used several Kava products to know better. It also tastes like mud - I can stomach that if it actually provided benefits / effects intended in purchase. I probably got a bad batch - so just be aware, there are bad batches.

I paid about $30 for this Kava in 8 oz. package. With Prime free 2-day delivery, this was among the very best values I could find on Kava anywhere online. Before purchasing, I researched the various Kava forums, and this product get favorable reviews overall. First I should say, I'm somewhat a skeptic on Kava's effectiveness in general. Anything that claims to have an effect similar to benzodiazepines, yet hasn't gained much interest from the FDA or DEA is suspect. Having said that, I do find noble Kavas to have at least a mildly relaxing effect. I've tried several brands, and I can say this brand is as good as any, and better than most. A few things that I've noticed are helfpul: 1) I usually double the suggested serving size. It's a lot to drink, but I chase it with a slice of mango or pineapple, so it's tolerable. 2) I take it on an empty stomach. That is absolutely no food for at least 4 hours prior to consuming. This helps with effects, and reduces and nausea. 3) I'll consume a high fat snack about 5 minutes after finishing the Kava. The fat helps activate the kavalactones (there are reasons for this if you do the research). After doing the above, I did find the drink relaxing, if only mildly so. The effect lasted a couple of hours. As an after work, stress reducing, mildly relaxing beverage, I'd say this was not a bad $30 spend.

This is the most consistent and balanced Kava for my chemistry personally. It NEVER knocks me out to the point where all I want to do is fall asleep, it's never heady to the point of agitation as I've experienced with some of the less sedating strains (the Tongan stuff in particular can be over stimulating for me). This is ideally balanced for my chemistry, and I've consumed more of this in 3 months than any other strain I've tried over 5-6 years. It always does what I need it to do, without exception, and is very mild tasting. Great stuff.

The weirdest taste I’ve ever had in my mouth. I did research and tried a few different ways to take it. A calm, motivated feeling with some pain relief. I take Kratom as well, so taste & just throwing it back wasn’t bad. If you are sensitive to taste/texture, you are not going to like drinking this. I can definitely see why, historically, this was only for royalty. It is a truly wonderful feeling & the quality (from my little bit of experience) is top notch. The price makes it something I would only do every so often.

I have had better but there shaker and ball really help if new to kava. Kava will help as an alternative to many times for me it was the occasional beer during the week. I replaced the beer with kava and I sleep better, I feel better and I can still have that relaxing feeling when resting before bed.
