These have worked great. Ribs and salmon did well. Chips burned well and lasted a 2 hours for a cups worth of chips. Blended hickory and apple for ribs and the ribs were tasty nice smoke flavor.

I received a Charcoal grill with an offset smoker for Christmas. I’ve never smoked anything before on a grill so this was a learning experience. I ordered these because I read wood chips were a good option for smoking any type of meats on the grill. These came nicely packaged, and even came with a fire starter. Which was a huge help, especially for someone who hasn’t smoked any type of meats before on a grill/offset smoker. Apple Wood has been my favorite thus far because of its sweet and subtle flavor. Perfect for a whole smoked spatchcock chicken. I also used the Hickory for my first time smoking a meatloaf! If you aren’t smoking your meatloaf, you’re missing out! I highly recommend these! The price isn’t great but isn’t bad either, considering the size of each bag.

While I have only used the wood chips one time, I was very pleased with the flavor of the 1/2 chicken that I smoked.
