The product is a Septic Treatment product that has worked for us... to follow mfr directions requires about 8 gallons. Worth the money compared to a pumping or tank & drain field replacement. The mfr has 4 gallons well fitted into a 12" X 12" X 13" carton & sealed in individual heavy duty zip bags for leak protection. HOWEVER, typical of AMAZON, their outer packaging assured delivery of a DAMAGED PRODUCT! The outer box was 18" X 21" X 15.5" (P2) box with ONE PIECE of brown kraft paper 24" X 36" to fill ALL THE EXTRA SPACE! On arrival the outer box showed some "bulges" and the mfr's carton had rounded corners, some leaked product. The inner box was standing on one corner touching the bottom of the P2 box and the diagonally opposite corner pressing against the bulging top of the box. Beware when buying heavy items from AMAZON... their shipping practices do not assure no damage to your item! UPDATE: Six months later the system continues to improve. I am now using a single quart sized drain field restorer one time every 2 months set up on Amazon auto-ship. At some future time, I may repeat the 8-gallon treatment cycle using this product just to maximize the restoration of our system. This Instant Power Professional Septic Shock product is not readily available where I reside.

It's sold in 4 gallon allotments, which makes for a very heavy box, and the order gets damaged during shipment, and the order becomes "undeliverable". This is what happened to me with my order, yet I was still charged for it and since the order was technicaly still in transit it could not be cancelled.With some difficulty I managed to get an Amazon tech, whose microphone was distorted and it sounded like she was screaming at me from the Bahamas. Half an hour later it was sorted out and I was issued a refund. Absolute hell, save yoursef the trouble and drive to the hardware store for this one. It is good stuff though.
