Not for high energy dogs
This lead is good quality and will work for a lot of dogs; medium-large dogs that pull and play rough may break these. It will eventually knot -> kinks break plastic -> exposed wire rusts. We have been through two of them but we have wolfdogs that are strong and determined.

Holds up well in temps up to 40 below zero.
This is working well for our needs. My German Shepherd is 2year old, she weighs 60 to 70 pounds. I got the 30 foot lead. She is not destructive, so I don’t know how well it would hold against a chewer. There is no stretch, but it has held well in 40 below zero weather. Yes she is that type of dog. The colder the better, she likes it. Working line, so she was built for this type of weather. Can’t keep her inside, so it’s a lifesaver. The back where we normally play has turned into an ice rink, due to playing frisbee. If she’s outside, so am I. We live on a very busy Main Street. So in order to play in snow that hasn’t been turned into ice, we are playing in the front. I needed a tie out to keep her safe. Gives her enough room to run and get zoomies out of her system, plus it keeps her safe. I am outside with her when we use it. I do not leave her unattended. It’s held up in the temps that are bitter frigid cold. I wanted to get a longer one, but it would have let her reach the street. She has stretched it to it’s limit and it holds. I’ve left it outside when we go inside, because cold weather and snow are her favorite, so we go out often. I wrap it around a thick tree.. It doesn’t give her the freedom she’s used to, but keeps her safe until we get fresh snow or spring thaw. So if it lasts through the bitter cold, I’m happy. It’s rated for 130 pounds and I’m sure when she’s doing zoomies she has a lot more power than her 60 to 70 ounds. She gets to be outside. What makes her happy, makes me happy. We haven’t had any problems. She has fun and makes me laugh. Had to order a second one after a year, only because someone ran over it with a commercial snow blower. The tie out was in good shape until that happened. The snow blower didn’t destroy it, but sliced the red tubing covering the wires. Some not all of the wires were cut also. No problems till it was run over by snowblower blades. Not a manufacturing defect.

Great choice!
Nice tie out cable. Good length for a medium size dog. Easy to see in the grass and snow. Coating prevents fingers from getting cold if you need to reel your fur baby in. Doesn’t kink or knot. Sturdy enough to tug free from the landscape bricks my dog keeps getting wrapped around. Clip is holding up well with two months of use.

Perfect tie out cable
We purchased this for our Alaskan Malmute. He is a big boy. This cable is great price, great value. I was having to buy 2 of these at the local farm store to get 30 ft. Then we had to fight where the w came together as they would get hung up on the steps. So glad I found this tie out. We replace them every 4-6 months so we will be buying again. This cable doesn't hang up. It seems to be more flexible than others we have had.

Really like the quality & spring that saves any chance of dog hurting himself

We needed a new tie down for Bennett Abraham. The old was rusting and the plastic separated. I have no doubt this will work fine for camping.

La livraison à été très rapide. Mais à l'arrivée j'ai examiné le câble et à 2 endroits le recouvrement de plastique était déjà fissuré. J'ai dû le retourner
