Q: Will this work for an led 12-24vdc 20watt light?

I think it should not be possible, the output voltage of this power supply is constant voltage DC 24V，but not 12V

Q: Will this work well with the joylit 24v 120w led strip? do i need to get the 10a one to have a good margin or is 5a enough?

24V 5A power supply can drive 120W LED strip. This is just enough, but it is recommended to use a 24V10A power supply

Q: What wire can you use to connect this to power outlet?

any wire capable of 20 amps should do nicely... or sense it's raited at 15 amps a 15 amp wire should also do .... I used a plug in from an old 1500 watt electric heater... which is over kill but I had it on hand, almost any old lamp cord would work as well as they are 15 amp as well.
