This is the first time that I have used riveted snap fasteners and I had to watch a youtube video to work out how to do it as the instructions were not clear. The set has all the tools you need (except a mallet). There are a selection of colours to choose from. I did a practice run using one set before taking the plunge and attaching them to the bag I made. It worked out very well and the fasteners are strong, not so strong that they pull on the fabric, but strong enough to stay closed. I purposely didn't choose a set with the hand held scissor type punch as I don't have much strength in my hands. Very pleased and would recommend them.

Received this yesterday as promised and straight away used it to repair a tool holder that hangs on my belt. Very easy to do, simple instructions to follow and excellent results. I would say, stronger than the original.

These are not the best quality fasteners available but they look good and do the job pretty well. Definitely worth the money.The box provided is your typical clear plastic job and has two compartments for each of the six different colours and a central well for the tools provided. Everything you need comes in the kit other than a hammer (obviously). The pictures on the Amazon web site are accurate – you get what is shown – and clearly show you how to fit the bits together. Full instructions for use are provided in the box too.There are a couple of minuses though. The punch provided isn't as sharp as it could be so you'll need to give a couple of solid whacks to get through thicker material (1.5 – 2.5 mm leather in my case). Definitely requires a metal hammer rather than a mallet. The hole sizing is spot on though. The fasteners themselves once fitted don't always push together without giving them a bit of a wiggle to make them engage. Once fastened they are nice and secure.I bought these as I'm just getting into leather crafting and they are perfect for the beginner stuff I'm working on. If I was making goods that are in daily use and need to look professional I think I'd pay a bit more for professional quality fasteners.All in all though, other than those, admittedly minor, points I'd highly recommend this kit for general hobby use.

Great little kit. I repaired an expensive rain coat that had lost a couple of poppers. I did do a couple of experiments before using on the coat. I also used them on some upholstery cushions and even when I made a mistake it was easy to remove with some tin snips and re- did them very successfully.

Clear instructions on how to use the kit and the Press studs so far have worked very well.

I had watched a short video on how to use these press-studs. When the kit came it was child's play. Everything was in there. The only thing I needed was a hammer to hit the hole-cutter and setting tools.My repair went very well and worked first time.I'm lucky I actually received it though because whoever delivered it just left it on the ground floor of my apartment block. Happily I spotted it before someone off the street did. It is small enough to fit through my letterbox.
