ARP; This is a custom made kit for Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Engines. Features: ARP2000 is an alloy steel that can be safely heat treated to a higher level, producing a greater strength material than 8740. While 8740 and ARP2000 share similar characteristics - ARP2000 is capable of achieving a clamp load at 220,000 psi. ARP2000 is used widely in short track and drag racing as an up-grade from 8740 chrome moly in both steel and aluminum rods. Cut to Fit: No Fastener Finish: Black oxide Fastener Material: ARP2000 Fastener Style: Stud Head Style: 12-point Quantity: Sold as a kit. Washers Included: Yes The studs are manufactured in ARP's Santa Paula, CA plant from proprietary ARP 2000 material, with threads rolled after heat-treat to provide optimum fatigue strength. · They are centerless ground to assure perfect concentricity · The ends of the studs are broached to facilitate easy installation. This feature also enables the cylinder head to be removed in tight quarters. · Also included in each kit are heat-treated, chrome-moly steel 12-point nuts and parallel-ground washers. They are black oxide finished for extreme durability. This kit is designed and engineered to out perform the competition. Comes with a Mandrel bent aluminum tube and CNC base plate designed to hold even the highest boost levels.
