I have been searching for a good, sturdy dense blanket for 3 years-FINALLY I found one! Due to a…”medical miscalculation” I’m having an issue where my femurs are “displaced”, causing my hip joints to not function. As a result, I’m having to sleep in a recliner. But, I’ve always had a thing about being “secure” w/ substantial covers-year round-a thin blanket won’t do, even in summer. As a result, I’ve been sleeping w/ 3, yes THREE, throws, because I can’t find 1 single blanket that has been dense enough, yet manageable in the chair —I even tried a children’s weighted blanket. But even a 5-7lb weighted toddler blanket is too hard to wrangle out of for a late night “pilgrimage”. The 3 throws work, weight/thickness wise, but to get up (remember, my hip joints don’t function-I can’t squirm or wiggle), I have to roll the 3 throws together, so that when I get back in my chair, all I have to do is unroll them. This is a huge issue when I’m in a rush to get started on my late night “pilgrimages”. Anyway, after years of searching, I saw this blanket-it’s described as “think & heavy”-I’ve been duped by those very words many times, but I decided to try it, based on reviews…I LOVE THIS BLANKET!!! For the first time in YEARS, I’ve been able to sleep w/ just 1 blanket! While not too heavy to get out from under, it is a very dense weave-it’s thick enough to squash the vulnerable feeling I’ve had since I was a baby, I need, pretty much, a “security blanket”. We live in the humid south-our AC runs nonstop-this is perfect for sleeping in a cool room, but still being cozy. Perfect weight & density, but a good size/weight for managing in a recliner. I bought 2 & plan on buying 2 more for family members-not scratchy, great texture. Buy one-you will LOVE it!!

GREAT QUALITY. I purchased this wool blanket to keep in my car. I am impressed. Proper care instructions are included. It does state that the wool blanket is best line-dried and that it will significantly shed IF you dry it in a machine. It comes triple cleaned and able to be used directly out of the package. It states dry-cleaning is a best option for this item, but machine wash is okay. There are different versions available for you to pick according to your needs. I will be purchasing this item again, as gifts. I'm a PNW girl, and I like that this blanket is from a Washington state based company. I will be checking out additional items from tis company.Durability:Having a wool blanket is a staple item. This is a quality item that will last forever.Value for money:The version of this blanket that I purchase is 80% Wool and 20% Synthetic. At $32 (on Prime Deal), I don't think you could possibly beat the quality for the cost. Design:Simple, clean, wool cut with a stitched edge. Comfort:This product is smooth wool upon opening the package. This comes triple washed and states it will become softer with each wash.

To immediately start off I messed up big time by not ordering ENOUGH of these. Our club is hosting a regional championship and I figured "a nice wool blanket would make a good judges gift. Doesn't have to be good quality or anything" so I had two navy blue blankets just sitting in my cart. The other day I saw that they went on sale and decided to order them. When I got my package yesterday I couldn't remember what I ordered that would be so heavy. These blankets are AWESOME. They're BIG, they're THICK, and theyre COZY.This morning I decided to buy two more for myself but the sale had ended. Im kicking myself big time.If you're debating ordering these, dont. Just pull the trigger. I missed my chance to get them cheaper and now im going to pay full price but I still think theyre worth it. 10/10 will buy again

Nice thick 80% wool blanket. They do need to be washed, and I would recommend washing them by hand in a 35 quart to 55 quart cooler. I had to soak in for 10 minutes and then it took about 20 times of filling the cooler with cold water and rinsing to get the color dye and the soap out. They smell better and are much softer afterwards. Line dry

Read the washing instructions well! I washed it in a regular washing machine on a normal cycle and when I took out there was hand full after hand full of shedding . The blanket has been good but this is the first time I washed it I hope it’s not ruined . I put it in the dryer to hopefully catch the rest of it in the lint catcher 😬😬

Wonderful blanket, great for keeping warm and having a weight on you especially if you double it up hotdog style. This is a must have for the vehicle

Perfect for 40° F under the stars. Don't let its convenient packability fool you. It feels thicker than it looks. Once you're wrapped up in it the warmth and the weight speak for themselves. It's clearly well-made and softer than the sheep it came from, which shocked my girl a ton cuz she's so picky about fabrics and hates how even supposedly soft wool still ends up scratchy.The first impression upon opening was the opposite of my last blanket-by-mail. No weird odor, no shedding, neatly folded yet no weirdly "sticky" creases. After using it for a few months, it's retained its comfort, color, and stitching entirely. I can tell this is going to last me a long time - far longer than I paid for. It was 100% worth it, and I advise anyone who gets this blanket to get the carry strap as well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great blanket! It kept me warm in 40ish degree weather. Not big enough to share with a partner comfortably if it’s the only blanket you have on hand. It’s a tad thin but doesn’t disappoint.
