I wasn’t sure if I actually needed this, I was using other random household objects to prop open my washer door and finally decided to purchase this. And WHY DIDNT I DO IT SOONER?! It’s so much better than what I was doing before. The magnet is strong, it’s the perfect size to just vent my washer without making the door hang all the way open. Looks great, works perfectly, easy to use—well worth the money for this tool.

Rather than having the washer door wide open, it props the door open 4 inches. Enough to dry and air the drum!

I have a Maytag washing machine front load. It happens to be metal so no extra magnets were needed. I simply put it between my washer door and the other end against the frame. So easy! It's a strong magnetic hold. Now my washer door isn't constantly swinging in the way. Thanks to whoever invented this.P.S. If you need magnets, the ones included in the package look like the perfect solution.

This is a small item that brings me a large amount of joy. No more propping the door open with a washcloth etc. it fits perfectly with my bifold doors open and closed.

Anyone with a front-load washer knows that if you do not leave the door open, you will end up with mildew. I used to use a two small suction cups with a bit of chain in between them and that worked for the most part, but of course the suction cups would come loose randomly and the door would end up wide open and in the way.This magnetic device is perfect for the job however. It not only works to keep the door open but also attaches and comes loose with no effort. Very good product for the few dollars it cost, I wish I had found it years ago.
