Worth it
Well worth the read, some prequel and some stuff set after the main plot keeps stuff fresh. Also has lots of great art pages including poster art pages for locations in Zootopia and movie poster style pages too. Lots of really good typography and fonts round it out.

An excellent buy for fans wanting new Zootopia content.
The book as it arrived is titled Zootopia Comics Collection, with quite a lot of individual comics in addition to a condensed retelling of the movie plot. The new 2d art is good across the board, as you'd expect from a Disney comic featuring cartoon animals, and they don't rely heavily on cinema stills. There are 2 in the book that utilize scenes from the movie, one of which is the DMV scene that takes up 27 pages.Content wise the book is a solid yes for any fan of Zootopia. However, the paper quality is between newspaper and comic print level, and not nice glossy like IDW uses. It makes some of the text harder to read- as my 4th & 5th photos show- and the comics have been shrunk down to fit this more digest sized comic compilation than the trade paperback size it would have been better served as. These are somewhat minor quibbles, as the book is good on its own, but it could have been just a little bit better.

Five Stars
Simply a delight. And the art work is superb not to mention adorable.

Good comics marred by poor print quality.
It has a lot of stories in it, and the art itself is very good. The movie comic is a very scaled-back version of the story, reminding me of the old Marvel comcis movie adaptations from the 80s.The main issue is the printing quality. Some pages are almost unreadable due to the grainy, odd print process the publisher used. Were this reprinted with high-quality it'd be a 5 star product easily. I wanted to like it a lot more.

Really good!
This is a colection of short comics and others. The quality of the images is fairly good. The texture of the paper is a combination of newspaper and old school paper used in comics. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star rating was that the material overall looks fragile to me.

Good book!
I thought this book was great; it's filled with fun, original comics with both classic and brand new characters. It is nice and thick, with 15 individual comics, plus two cinestories from the film. I think it is a great buy for any Zootopia fan, but it is NOT a graphic novel and it does NOT look like the picture that Amazon posted.

Presque parfait

Great art, bad book
This is actually a collection of short comics, including a retelling of the movie. Because it's so condensed (less than 50 pages!) it does lose a lot of it's charm, though when compared to the original script. The book is also padded out with filler pages, some of which are exactly the same artwork (for example, page 12 and 94), two of the comics are just screenshots from the movie with speech bubbles added, which is a really cheap and lazy way to fill a book in my opinion, especially when you take into consideration the poor colour print quality on this sort of paper. It also gets padded with "meet the characters" types of pages which wouldn't be necessary if main story was more fleshed out, plus these pages are hard on the eyes because they were clearly meant to be seen on a higher quality print, the text blurs with whatever colour it was on top of in many places and is just generally unpleasant to read.Another disappointment is the cover itself. Amazon doesn't have the actual cover image on its store page, showing placeholder art instead. Sadly, the placeholder art is a lot better, because the final art simply recycles the same cover as the blu-ray.The artwork inside is great at least, with different artists having worked on different comics, but story-wise they are all weak and uninteresting. They range from 1 to 25 or so pages each. All in all, some real artistic talent went into this, it's just such a disappointment that it's let down by poor quality printing and a sloppy, disjointed presentation. I'd rate it 2-stars, but for the very low price I actually paid for it, it's just OK.

poor quality paper
poor quality paper, lots of filler, but some nice original art in here in-between the filler. wish i could just have gotten the original stuff on better paper.

Nice for die-hard fans but otherwise lazily done; with some very nice artwork.
Somewhat disappointing, especially given the extremely high quality of the film. The paper is very poor quality, rendering the artwork (which is often very well done and enjoyable) greatly reduced. The 'graphic novel' aspect - retelling the movie through a comic - is nice but very, very reduced, losing a lot of the charm of the movie and sometimes reducing scenes so much that they actually don't make that much sense. If (a) you have seen the movie then it is just a lesser version without adding much, and if (b) you haven't seen the movie then it won't make that much sense. The other comics in the book are nice enough. Nice artwork, fluffy little stories that are as fun as you might expect. But they are peppered with a lot of lazy content around them, and the paper quality of the book is so poor that the artwork really does suffer.A shame.
