Bought these 4 months ago and still using the first one because they don't rust or degrade. Works better than the plastic sponges, especially on pots, pans and flatware. Started using them on dishes to remove sticky bits like pasta or eggs; great on baked surfaces; absolutely essential on SS cookware. I even use them when I scrub the sink. Since they work so well I can use less detergent and since they last so long I don't throw out a lot of plastic. Makes Common Sense to me.

Love the price and product. It can help for sure. Fridge has a spill I didn’t know but it was under the drawer and it dried up from the cold. There was no smell. I needed it because it was hard and gummy texture. Chemicals and scrubbing were essential.

I've used these for years. Real stainless steel, absolutely does not rust. Broad less likely to snag strands. I don't use gloves as some say, since I've never had a sharp point appear in the scrubber because I make a point of never using it with surfaces that might snag. If you do get a snag which creates a sharp point, just discard immediately. As a scrubber, you can use it on glass, steel, ceramics, and even Teflon (if you're extremely careful to minimize pressure). Pretty quickly these turn into pretty shapeless masses, but don't discard, it works fine this way. I have a hierarchy of usage. For six months on dishes, then they get demoted to scrubbing the range top and sink. Once they get really dirty and unwashable I discard them. I usually keep the scrubber and a long handled brush in a container of water in the sink to prevent food from caking and keeps them cleaner.
