Cryptozoic Entertainment Batman Almost Got Im Card Game- DC Universe Social Deduction Board Game- For 5 to 8 Players - Ages 15+

This is a fun “Secret Identity” card game. My family loves the Batman theme and that this game incorporates several blackout phases. Being able to play multiple rounds aids with the deduction and suspense as to who Batman is and allows for fun, creative stories as to how different characters Almost Got Batman.The only drawback in this game is that one person has to be the moderator. While it can be fun to sit back and watch everyone else making accusations, it is more fun to be a part of the story. This was remedied by making a computer program to be the moderator. So, now all 6 members of my family can be in the game and I can give this game a 5-star rating!Great work Cryptozoic!

So far I’ve played with the minimum and maximum number of people. with a group devoted animated series fans it was exciting to play a social deduction while trying to stay in character. Also as a group just enjoying a poker dynamic to any deduction game it is quick and addictive. Packaging and delivery were excellent.

The cards are beautiful, and the instructions once read through are pretty straightforward. One thing that buyers should be aware of is that this game works best for lots of players, 7 being probably the best. It actually plays a lot like Werewolf where one is trying to take out the other players and the rest of the team is trying to guess who it is.

Very cute gift, I gave it with a poker set to kind of go along with it. It's a nice batman game mixed in with a poker game. Very interesting and would be a great gift for anyone would loves card games and batman. Definietly not a childrens game though.

Might take you a second to conceptualize it if you've never played a mafia or werewolf-like game previously but its awesome. Only thing I would say is to not try to play it for the first time as you're reading the instructions. Study up on it for a half an hour, tops, familiarize yourself with its intricacies, and then remember, that you, as the only one who knows the rules, will not be able to play. This game DOES require a moderator! Still incredible, imo, but I can see people not liking the idea of one person not being a true player. I'm fine with it though. You make the game work and make it fun for those participating by knowing the games rules and informing others.

Very fun version of werewolf batnan style. It was a fun family christmas game. Simple to learn. those who played were ages 7-50+.

We've played it a few times, and while it definitely captures the essence of the episode it emulates, the concept is difficult to get across to groups. I'm by no means bad at explaining the rules for games as I do it weekly, but I have trouble articulating this ones rules.

A lot of fun, much more elaborate than the traditional "werewolf" game. The only downside is you NEED a moderator, and consequently a pretty sizable game group to even be able to play, but I love it. Wish I could play it more often.
