I have never found something to replicate vacuum plated plastic chrome on model cars. I also never write reviews for products. This time I am breaking that rule, because these pens came so close to replicating a chrome finish on plastic model parts.Most of my diecast models are over 30 years old. Some haven't shown any deterioration on their chrome trim and others have basically lost all the vacuum aluminum plating, even though they are all in the same environment. So I was faced with a dilemma of trying to replace old models with others that are just as old or find some way to renew the finish.I don't know how long the finish will last, but for now I am extremely satisfied with the end results. I tried to take before and after pictures but chrome doesn't really photograph very well. The best I can come up with is a comparison of two models that are the same manufacturer and age. You can pick which one was touched up with Kerifi liquid chrome marker and which is still wearing the original chrome finish that was applied at the time of manufacture.My only worry is that this product will go out of production in the future and I'll be at a loss to find one as great.

These metallic gold paint markers are bomb! I needed a rounded tip to paint precise, tiny bubbles on my art trays and these pens are perfect. They don't blob up or gel, yet the paint is thick and of high quality. The fine tips allow for precision drawing and the paint dries within 60 seconds. For their quality, they are very reasonably priced. I will purchase these pens again.

I purchased this set of paint markers to touch up some flaking chrome accent trim in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Around my cup holders mostly which is a high traffic area. While these markers do essentially produce a shiny finish vs what you'd get out of a metallic silver marker or paint, the application method is pretty challenging to get a non streaky finish with the built in applicator tips. I really think these paint markers are best suited for rough surfaces. Trying to get a mirror like finish on smooth meterials like plastic is all but impossible with these things. You really have to put it on heavy which these paint markers are not good at. I ended up drilling a small hole in the back side of the largest pen and pouring the paint into a small bowl so I could use a small paint brush. I went to 3 autopart stores and none of them carried chrome paint anymore. Crazy I figured it would be a standard thing they sell but I guess real chrome paint isn't really a popular item anymore. So I order these on a whim. I'll probably just end replacing the chrome trim. Experiment isn't up to my standards. But hay, worth a try for $9. For other projects like art or just writing with, these probably work great.

Have only used one of the pens in the set of 3 so far, but it looks exactly as I had hoped! Beautiful color and coverage! The pens arrived quickly with no issues. Thank you!

These are absolutely awesome!! I had some g1 transformers and there was some ware on the chrome parts. I tried this paint on a replica part and it came out beautiful!! Chrome parts look brand new!!The smoke stack to the right was done with the marker.

Perhaps I received an anomaly..."the last one off the production line Friday evening." Working with the finest point, I could not get the pen to flow consistently. After the first 1-2 strokes, the ink/paint would stop and I had to ensure the tip was clean, activate the tip, and start over. Problem... when starting a new line, the width is different initially. So, this was not very helpful, but the color was as advertised...too bad the pen does not work properly. I did not test the other pens in the set.

Works well. Goes on smooth and thick and dries quickly.

These markers look like chrome. I have a 66 mustang that had some of the interior chrome accents worn off. These markers added the chrome look back to these surfaces. They also last a long time. I have only used 1 of the 3 for my chrome repair, personalizing a bunch of ornaments for gifts and still have not run out. Great markers.
