ForgeFix - Carriage Bolt & Nut ZP M12 x 240mm Bag 5

Very decent quality bolts, nicely and precisely machined thread, good steel and finish. Perfect for some fence repair attaching 100mm concrete spur to 100mm wooden fence post - so much more convenient than standard 200mm ones.It fits snugly into standard 3x4 inches concrete repair spur - might need a little bit of encouragement to go all the way through (with a carpenter deadblow hammer in my case), but once in - the thread is unaffected (eg a nut goes right on) and its sits absolutely solidly.

Not sure if this is how all coach bolts are specked or made but was expecting similar or same as product pic...80% thread to remaining not threaded...althought the quality and price and delivery etc are all very good I have long bolts with with less than half its length threaded meaning am unable to use them for what I bought them for.

Less than half the length is threaded, so the picture is very misleading. Utterly pointless for my needs.

Carriage bolts. Errrrrr. They were the length and size requested, threads were fine. A standard item, well priced. Absolutely fine for my usage.

Picture isnt accurate. Thread is much shorter than expected.
