I've been looking for coffee beans that make a solid cup of coffee, and I'm delighted to say that I found it!Coffee preferences and tastes are very subjective, and what's good to one person might not be to another, so keep that in mind.What I want in a good cup of coffee is a straight forward coffee taste. No bitterness, no burnt taste, just something smooth and simple.I don't use a lot of sweetener in my coffee, I generally make it in my Keurig and add a dollop of heavy whipping cream and sometimes a teaspoon of chocolate Keto Chow for the sweetness and flavor. This coffee tastes like a lightly sweetened coffee candy when I make it that way.When I opened the bag, I was welcomed with the delicious aroma of quality coffee, and this bean does deliver on that promise. It's a solid bold flavor without being too strong, and the coffee taste isn't lost when I add the chocolate keto chow and heaving whipping cream.Once this bag is almost empty I'll begin subscribing to it for regular deliveries. it's that good.

This is good...I have my favorites notes, flavors or tastes. I'm not a coffee genius when it comes to brewing, but I am picky. I do have my grinds for each type of brewing method and I've liked it almost every time..."thems is good beans." To narrow it down, 90% of the time I find those flavor notes I like and for some roasts I'll get the flavor I like 75% of the time regardless of the grind, so 90 is very respectable and up there with some of the known popular companies. What I like is smooth, some caramel to chocolate hints that is definitely a roasted lightly or mellow, no burnt flavors. It is a little less the target flavors when slow brewed and ground too fine it is not great. My go-to sand like grind with a hint of caking is where I get the best flavors on a electric blade grinder and a slight more coarse with a ceramic rasp type grinder. I would rank these beans in my personal list of about 8.5 out of 10. Scale is major brand instant coffee being 1-2, big company pre-ground and fresh opened brands from 2-5, choice companies whole bean and just opened bag 5-9, small batch super roaster fresh 7-10. Oh...the "D-D" company...6 for whole bean and "S-B" company 7 for whole bean. The last two can be better sometimes, but this is more the average.

I have been drinking Real Good Coffee Company Donut Shop for over a year now (2lb bag per month). This coffee has an outstanding, robust flavor without a bitter taste! Other coffees I have tried with a full flavor like this have had a bit too much caffeine for me (getting the jitters after a couple of cups!). Not Real Good Coffee! The experience has been consistent (and awesome) from order to order! The only caveat is that the coffee was unavailable for the month of Dec 2019. I had to try a couple difference coffees during this month and found that they did not compare, much less at this price point! One of the other coffees had a good aroma, but lacked in flavor (even with the machine set to strong, which adds more grounds to the pot a it's brewing). Another had a similar flavor, but at an increased cost! To prevent this from happening, I now have a full bag in my pantry, besides the bag I'm using.As soon as I open the bag in the pantry, I'll order another bag and I hope to never run out again! Outstandingg flavor, great value and and overall excellent coffee! Highly recommended!

I have a bad habit of buying expensive Starbucks drinks. I have been trying to get away from buying Starbucks and have successfully done so in the past. Albeit temporarily. Part of that success is having coffee beans at home that I can grind every morning to make myself fresh coffee. And I have to say I am very pleased with the taste of this coffee as well as the value. It has become more and more difficult to find good whole bean coffee selections at the local store so just ordering it ahead on Amazon has been my solution. I will definitely buy this again.I do not consider myself a connoisseur. I am just an average Joe looking for a real good cup.

Wonderful coffee. Not bitter, smooth. Even the aroma from grinding thru brewing is a welcome start to my day. Been enjoying for a couple of years and I appreciate the consistent quality of the beans.

A little bitter with a smoky after taste. Not quite as smooth as I had hoped for. Good coffee but not what I would consider great.

I have purchased this coffee the last few times I’ve ordered and will continue. I’ve tried a couple roasts and The Breakfast Blend is my favorite (though the others were good). The beans make a nice cup of smooth coffee!

I am a huge fan of French Roast. I've been looking for the "perfect" French Roast for a couple of years now and this may very well be it. This coffee dances across your tongue. It is the closest thing to magic that I have ever tasted. Spicy notes tingle the senses. Very robust with floral and raspberry notes, but not in a bad way for those of you who don't like fruit or flower in coffee. I won't touch infused crap. There is this... I don't know how to describe the other flavor. The color of caramel comes to mind but not the flavor of caramel. It's like if warmth had a flavor. There are so many dimensions to this coffee that I feel I have been drinking one-dimensional coffee before this. So. Good. So fresh. So delicious. 2 lbs are already gone and I bought this less than 2-weeks ago.
