I love a unique open ended toy and this is a great one. I was able to start using this toy with my baby at around a year by just taking away the smaller pieces. As she gets older I will start to give those pieces back. They are very durable and have held up to a lot of being thrown and smashed together!

I selected three different brands of these balancing ‘stone’ blocks. These were our favorites. They have the largest bases, which helps them not fall over. They don’t earn 5 stars, though, because blocks that are supposed to be the same size actually have slight variations in height, which makes them harder to stack high.I will upload some pictures comparing these to the Wemmicks brand blocks we also tried out.But that’s JustMe. (I received this product in exchange for an honest review, and that is what I have offered here.)

My 2.5 year old instantly loved this and has spent so much time building and playing with these.They come in a bin that’s perfect for storing them in, I hate when we get blocks or something and I need to find a “home” for them to be kept in. With a picture of them on the front, my 2 year old is easily able to identify what goes in this bin and helps pick them up. The handle helps him carry them from room to room or outside to play with in the yard.Each came wrapped by color. There’s only one big red one which I thought was odd, but my toddler doesn’t seem to care or mind. Each stone is well made with no rough edges for him to hurt himself on. If your little one likes to put things in their mouth, you may want to wait on this since some of the parts are small but otherwise we think it’s a great gift.

At $32.88, one might think the price is high for a tub of wooden stacking blocks. However, I was happily surprised by the quality of this product and look forward to watching my grandchild creating unique designs and artistic projects.The bucket holds 36 pieces of wooden blocks that look very much like stones of various sizes and shapes. They are very colorful and smooth to the touch. None of the (simulated) stones have rough edges, lending themselves to a great deal of creative play. Much like people stacking stones on a beach to create a Zen creation, this tub of simulated rocks will catch the interest of many.Although I ordered this set of stacking stones for my kindergarten grandchild, I think the stones could be transferred from the tub they came in to a lovely basket. In no time at all, I suspect that kids of all ages, including teens and adults, would find themselves making lovely creations!

Grandkids love this set. It comes in a bucket for storage (it even has a handle). All of the pieces are smooth and safe. It's easy to build and even more fun to knock down once construction is complete.It makes a great toy to take along for trips in the RV. It takes up little space to store.Great idea, tons of fun for my younger grandkids.

Rocks:Sometimes the simplest is the best. This kind of rock shaped blocks are way better than traditional blocks.Great way for children to develop their gross and fine motor skills at the same time.Quality is great and the sizes are appropriate for little kids. Surface is burr-free, nicely polished and smooth. My 4 year old autistic son also loves to line them up, so sometimes it can also be a stress relief tool and not only a cool challenging toy. The box where they come is sturdy and encourages my kid to keep them organized and not mixed up with other toys.As advertised.

These are extraordinarily cool and evoke some serious creativity from your kids. I think they're best for 2.5-5year olds, but truthfully any person young and old would enjoy these stacking blocks. They're reminiscent of people who stack rocks on the side of the road, except these are prettier. Nice pastel color choices and endless ways to creatively rearrange, evoke the imagination of any kid.
