My wife wants to start making some creative cakes but wanted to find a way to practice without having to bake extra cakes. This item has helped. She puts icing in a piping bag and practices on the board. When done with practicing with one style, she can switch pages to another. All the pages come in a nice storage container that folds flat.

I have ADHD and maybe this is why I got bored of the board easily. The product is good. I use the cards alone and practice on a mold.

I’m a beginner and was looking for a way to practice without having to waste a lot of food or force feed my relatives dessert. This fit the bill! It’s very easy to use and clean. It’s sturdy, durable and lightweight. In order to prevent wasting frosting, I also use an icing scraper to scrape it off the practice board and into a bowl, then eventually back into my piping bag for more practice. I love the practice sheets, and they have really helped me improve my skills. I highly recommend this to any beginner.

I got this to learn frosting techniques and it works great. I did use a useful tip from other reviews and had the sheets laminated. I had to practice more than once and I used leftover cream cheese frosting which was oily enough to have ruined them had I not laminated them. I have not tried buttercream yet. Thanks to those of you who let me know now these can be used for years to come. Techniques were clear and helpful. Case is sturdy enough for what it's used for, easy to open and close and easily stores just about anywhere.
