This thing is honestly better than any other I’ve used. Trumps Milwaukee and Klein easily. They are pretty bulky, so if you’re working with smaller wires in tight spaces, probably go for those Klein ones, but if you’re not so restricted and need some that are durable and otherwise quality these are super nice.

Worth the buy
One of my favorite electrical tools, good quality

Great pliers
Great working pair of pliers. Choose it over my Kleins every day. I do automotive style work and the pointed nose helps to pull fuses in tight spots.

How long will they work this well?
So far they have been great! Wire stripping and cutting are great! Very comfortable grips with really good squeeze leverage. Only question I have is about longevity… I’ve used them every day this week and love them! Hopefully I can say the same in two years!

Really good wire strippers
STRIPPING The gauge markings in general could be more visible. Light grey on black is harder to see in low light conditions (under a crawlspace) - especially if you're 50 or older. Yellow would be better. The marking is on both sides which is great. Stripping is flawless. WIRE CUTTING Cut 10 and 12 gauge wire effortlessly. No dents in the tool so the steel is stronger than copper. WIRE BENDING Using either the pliers or the hole between the pliers and strippers I was able to handle wire and manipulate it into the right shapes (j shape) for installing a light switch. REAMER Not tested BOLT CUTTERS Testing on wire. Not bolts. Not sure I'd ever use the bolt cutters. ERGONIMIC The tool is spring loaded and returns to the open position. There is a locking mechanism that locks the tool closed. It was a bit confusing how to unlock but once you do it a few times its pretty easy. You can unlock the mechanism with your thumb while holding the tool with just one hand. It feels heavy but the rubber handle makes it feel right at home for your hand. All in all very happy with purchase.

I know they’re cheaper quality
These aren’t the top of the line or forever wire strippers but… I’m not an electrician. I’m a contractor who mostly does kitchens and bath remodels. When I need to do some electric work these get the job done. And they were cheap enough that I can let other guys on the job use them and not worry about losing them.

good but not a bargain
Time to replace my worn out wire stripper. This is a sturdy tool that I hoped would reduce the number of items in my tool pouch. No. It does a fine job of wire stripping but is physically larger than my old Ideal model. It doesn't cut wire as well, so I still need the extra dikes. Spending twice as much for similar tools from Knipex or Klein seems like a better choice.
