It is only a blue tooth speaker. It will play from any source. My husband loves it!!

Q: How do I add music to this device using a mac computer ?

Please plug microSD card into a microSD adapter and then insert the adapter in the slot on iMac, It comes up as a drive, Simply click file/tune you get choice to play-etc go down to create mp3 click on it, grab music/file drag them to the microSD card until it goes blue(selected)and drop them. you will see the file loading on to the microSD card drive.
